I am unable to access this topic. "All my computers running at the moment." under hardware design. i get an error pop-up every time.

Yeh, I'm having some strange database wierdness. Some people have odd access issues here and there. I couldn't even access my email yesterday. So I'm not sure what's up and the database restore didn't seem to help. I did all the database functions I could in phpadmin, but there's still something messed up. Could be an SMF bug, but I'm not really getting any errors in the log, so I'm not sure.

I personally haven't come up with anything wierd yet but if I do I will be sure to post it up so you can chase it down TM.

Yeh, If I had some useful feedback, I would post over at SMF regarding this issue. According to any database diagnostics I can do, everything is hunky-dorie. So I don't want to be one of those lamers that posts, "Hey, your board software sucks, it doesn't work". lol.

But thanks for keeping an eye out. I'll post whatever fix I come up with for you, my fellow SMF user.

My question first is everyone else able to access that board? If so then it is more of a "my side" error than a database error. If everyone else is having a problems it is a table error in the database where something was corrupted somehow on that particulr topic in that table. If you have any more information let me know.

The problem is definitely on my side. So far several people have experienced issues so it's really something random that's going on. I'm going to revert some of the installed mods to see if the problem goes away. I never liked mods, but I even got a little mod-install crazy.

the problem i am having must be my side on my work computer. i can view it on my laptop no problem. So that is not your side. Mods can altar the views and stuff but overall database functions itusually doesn't do anything to.

Heh, well there are some other strange things going on too. A couple people can't even log in, and even I get a couple places where I get errors; those places tend to move as people post. So it's strange indeed. The fun one was my private messages would crash; I had to actually go into the database and delete my last few emails to get it back up and functioning.

Well I'm going to run for a while without many mods installed to see if things at least start functioning better. Keep your fingers crossed.
