What is the reason behind these things? Just curious what purpose they serve, never done anything in the breeding/taming area >_>

if the battle chickens are in their coops, u still have to feed them daily?  Cuz if so mine have been in the coops for over a year with no food..

You feed them only if you want the eggs... Otherwise, it's just like a stable.
