Unusual Mining % results

Interesting tidbit here.  Please tell me if you've noticed anything similar.

Over the last two days, my elf miner has been pulling unusually high levels of colored ore.  Typically, I am within 1% of the firmly established 75/25 split.  On Sunday, I noticed a 69% level of plain ore - but I only mined 5000 before crashing and thought it was a statistical anomaly.  Today, I mined from server up (31K ore total) and was at 70%...

Did they change/break something unintentionally?  Anyone else seeing deviations from the known?

Best part of today was my massive shadow ore haul...eight percent.  Awesome for BOD running.

my guildmates have been running

Elf
Prospect
+ 5 mining gloves

and have been seeing less than 50% Iron ore.

i run two elf and two humans and get pretty close to the same thing, 69-70%.  Maybe only one percent more colored ore on the elfs.
