Buying a new car; suggestions?

Trying to keep it under 40K.  So if anyone has ideas, lemme know.

So far, I'm leaning toward a VW CC or Jetta TDI, Fusion Hybrid or Mustang (feeling a mid life crisis coming on).

Ah, I see.  I'm actually going to buy new.  I haven't had much luck lately with used cars.  I want to be the first person to fart in the seat!

I did certainly enjoy the Audi cars in Germany.  That's kinda why I like the TDI-VW.  Those turbo-diesels are pretty amazing.  Zippy and get tremendous gas mileage.  The German cars are tight handling and well-made.  It's just hard to find a manual shift here in the states; everyone loves their automatic transmissions.

Well if your gonna go new and want the TDI w/ manual tranny, order it. You can get any option you want, if your willing to wait a little while to get it delivered.

CAMARO!!!!!!!CAMARO!!!!!!!!!!

if you are going to have a mid life crisis, do it TT style,
move out, divorce your wife, and get a hot 19 year old.

Otherwise, go for the muscle!

Yep...I would take the new Camaro over almost anything.....as far as the 19 Year Old is concerned....think long and hard about that! ;)
The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.....  If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Ya, it's looking like that's the case.  It's funny.  99% of the cars in Germany are manual transmission.  They just love to "feel" the car that's being driven.
