Scripting Chat / Re: what script would you like to see?
« on: July 07, 2011, 10:22:23 PM »
That's a classic beginner script right there.

Very easy to do.
and yet I can't find a single example on the boards (here or easyuo).
and I would realy love to see a simple (or not so simple) example of multi clienting
and I thought a simple cross healer would be good.
and
and
and button stuck  :D

If you really looking for something to do.

I would realy love to see a simple cross healing script that dosen't use the journal for checking when to heal

1 script checking 2 clients and applying aids when needed, might be a better way to explain it.

peace

Scripting Chat / Re: Script Imbuing with bowcraft?
« on: July 07, 2011, 12:36:24 PM »
what you want to do is, first find an imbuing trainer that you want to use, then your going to have to find the sub that tinkers the tools and replace it with a sub that grabs tools.

now go find a script that you want to use and open it up in suo (makes it easy to jump around subs and tags) and just read through it.

there is probably a sub in there already to move ingots etc. .

then ask questions here people will help

though most prefer to teach you how, rather than do for ya

Deere... there like the deer you see along side the road, you should avoid them.

as for what you should get depends on how much yard you need to mow. If you have a lot 3 or more acres you might be able to justify a small "real" tractor. Then you can get all sorts of cool attchments.

a trick you'll want to know.  ;)

unfortunately the only way to reliably get rid of the "ghost" items, that I have found is to close the pack and reopen it.

If peeps spent 49 billion on these plots, how much gold do you think is in the game.
I'm betting at least another 10 trillion or so.

tm's scriptuo will really help in understanding scripts. I love being able to bounce from one sub to another, but anyways playon. And its not really a gump within a gump its another page to that gump.

At the bottom of easyuo are a bunch of numbers, as you move the cursor around one set of those numbers will change. these are your cursor positions, and that is what you are trying to change.
set %x #CONTPOSX + 306
means you want the cursor to move to the gumps x position plus another 306
x being the up and down movement
y being the left and right movement

the easiest way for a beginer is to move the gump to the top left corner of the game window, until the
#CONTPOSX #CONTPOSXYand in the right hand pane have values of 0. Then move your cursor to the area on the gump that needs to be clicked. the numbers at the bottom in the cursor box will be what you need to change the numbers. You still need to write the line as

set %x #CONTPOSX + 306

since you will not always have the gump at the 0.0 position
another way to move the gump to the 0.0 position is to open the gump, make sure it is on top, and run the following code

Code: [Select]
set #CONTPOSX 0
set #CONTPOSY 0
halt

what has happened is the button position has changed in the donation gump, due to the addition of "backpack donating" and comoditity deed's being added.
you will need to find the new position relative to the gumps 0.0 position

dude sorry to hear the pain, but know it oh so well.
after my last tumble though i found something better than crutches, that you might want to look into, since your injury is below the knee. It's called a "knee walker", way better than crutches.

Cool Links! / Re: Search ALL of Craigslist
« on: April 26, 2011, 09:43:04 AM »
When I found out about these search engines I was sooo happy.
Makes finding rare cars and part way easier.

I have this uber rare 1983 Ford Ranger diesel that I been searching for parts for and was able to find most of what I needed using them.

thxs for info on other one, always nice to have other places to look.

When searching for cars on Craigslist I found this site
http://www.autotempest.com/
which searches Craigslist, Ebay, and other site for cars.

and its other site
http://www.searchtempest.com/
which searches Craigslist sites for however far from you, that you select. i.e. 100 mile radius, 250miles, etc.

Scripting Chat / Re: iso fully auto bod filler
« on: March 20, 2011, 06:16:57 PM »
Actually most of the changes are easy to do using SUO. You need to find the gump sizes in s7's bodfiller
and make sure the click position are right in kal's craftinfo.txt.  Takes a couple hours or so.  SUO is very good for finding the right places to change things.
