What script client for OSI shards?
« on: March 14, 2012, 04:17:34 AM »

What scripting program if any works for OSI shards these days?  So far its looking like nothing is working for me unless I am missing an updated download link here or on easyuo.

Could someone point me in the right direction if I am missing something, apologies if I overlooked something.

Thanks in advance!

I know EUO and OpenEUO are not working at the moment, Not sure about stealth or razor for that matter. seems they did some major restructuring to keep the scripters at bay, so no telling when it will be working.

So until the update is out, will Stealth not work.

I've done everything from your tutorial but when I go to tell it where the mul files are, since I'm patched, it says "path incorrect" and won't save.  Stealth will not start a client.

edit:  Nevermind, I missed one step. It's working fine now.

You already patched to 7.0.24.x?`Then you dont have those files anymore.
Stealth reads mul files for building graphics.
My idea was not patching the client and emulate via Stealth Options to the shard, that you patched, but just reading the old 7.0.23.x mulfiles.
In the end you would run a 7.0.23.x Client in real but stealth could tell the shard "Lemme Connect iam on 7.0.24.x".
The Question is, was this just a simple merging patch for nerfing the scripters and modder, or did they really implement new graphics.
In the second case when using 7.0.23.x, new graphics wont be showed, but you could connect and macro.

Well, I'm fully patched up to 7.0.24.3 and it appears Stealth is working even without the location defined for the mul files.  It's blank and won't save when it's incorrect.  It's working regardless.

I should add I'm using it on ABCUO not EA.

This is in the system journal though;

08:23:04:234 [ABC]: UO MUL-Files path incorrect, some functions disabled (move, map, clicocs etc.)

As i told. you cant try my thesis with a 7.0.24.x Client.
Since publish 75 they merged a part of the mul files (Tiles\items as i know) into the uop pack. Iam sure this will be merged more and more soon.
So until the authors of stealth patched those uop additions, you only could use my "Idea" with an older client like 7.0.23.x.

Stealth didnt found your mulfiles. You can now Macro and script but very limited , since stealth reading uo content from mulfiles\clilocs.
No Propertys, no Graphical interface....

What becomes the future of Stealth? It's my understanding that the .mul files are gone and replaced with .uop files.

Well, the bandage script will work once.  I take damage and it starts one bandage but won't continue to apply bandages.

I'm sure the smart folks over there and around the interwebz will be able to decode these things.

Its already done in some ways.
Runuo already caught up in their latest svn.Stealth can partially handle the uop files, Vizit0r is working on it...
Easyuo will now be forced to upgrade or take a breakpoint here.
