Not medical advice, though a gf used to get these, mostly manageable with daily B12 and folic acid supplementation, occasionally receiving an imitrex injection when bad enough.  Other options listed below; all have side effects and each person responds differently.

Prevention
B12
Folic acid

Mitigation
Magnesium
Ibuprofen
Propranolol - rx

Treatment
Imitrex  - rx, subc inj

Script Debug / Re: Corgul's Handbook giving me fits
« on: November 15, 2013, 04:27:43 PM »
when I try the same simple script (with the variable names and their associated ID's properly assigned) for my Corgul's Handbook (another spellbook) it never drops it and it always get's stuck in my hand... What is causing this?

You might bring it up on the easyuo main board; seen cases where Cheffe had to change something to get certain items to equip to the proper layer.  Along with the exact name, be sure to mention the type of the object ( can lift it manually and then look at #lliftedtype in the variable pane to determine it).

Bleh, that sucks, though not unusual TM.  My bro's 'comminuted' fracture was missing bone on two ends of a sliver around 3/4 inch long in the middle; the first x-ray after taking off the plaster was terribly disappointing and he continued to wear a splint.  A couple of months later a big difference was visible on the x-rays.  Two years later, and you can't even tell where the breaks were.  I'm no medical expert though it seems the healing progresses slowly at first and eventually accelerates, with the initial phase not visible on x-rays due to lack of calcification.  Everyone heals at different rates but it all takes time.  Anyway, hope you are able to avoid having more surgery!

What does wtCharProfile refer to?  I've provided some context below.

Haven't used stealth, however going to guess that it's the same as the profile_gump in easyuo. If you open a character's paperdoll and double click the scroll next to the party scroll, it'll pop up.

Whoa, that sucks dude.  Looks like my brother's arm did back in 2011 after a minivan took him out.   Don't get too bummed, you'll probably eventually get most of that feeling back and it won't take you long to rebuild atrophied muscle.  Avoid NSAIDs and make sure you're getting plenty of minerals in your diet, this doc explains why:

http://www.betterbones.com/bonefracture/speedhealing.pdf

There are some over-the-counter supplements you might also look into taking to help accelerate recovery by stimulating osteoblast activity and neuron repair: icariin and forskolin.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6320005

Also, if you're experiencing neuralgia and plan to take any supplements, make sure they don't contain B-alanine (common ingredient in body building supplements, can worsen nerve pain).

This just relies on #sysmsg, first saw this trick in an RK script ... presumes you don't mess with run/walk status except via the walkrun sub:

Code: [Select]
set %isrunning x ; 0 - walking, 1 - running
gosub init
display ok %isrunning
gosub walkrun
display ok %isrunning
halt

; places client and isrunning in known state (walking).
sub init
  repeat
    set %temp #sysmsg
    if Always_Run_is_now_off. in %temp
    {
      set %isrunning 0
      return
    }
    wait 2
    event macro 32 0
    wait 3
  until #false
return

; %0 0 - toggle; %1 0 - walk, 1 - run
sub walkrun
  if %0 = 0
    goto toggle
  if %1 = %isrunning
    return
  toggle:
  event macro 32 0
  set %isrunning ( %isrunning + 1 ) % 2
  wait 3
return

Script Debug / Re: Up-to-date list of char types?
« on: October 07, 2013, 07:35:53 PM »
Do you have the breakdown of what each of them are ?

http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50524

HS_IS female/male humans

MAB_SAB_LAB_QAB necro forms

AV_XU elves

OCB_NCB gargoyles

JS_KS_KV_ZU ghosts

(Tested all but gargs on vanilla runuo). Not sure what the others are, there should be one for spellweaving reaper form, one for savage kin paint, and possibly some female equivalents for vampiric embrace and savage kin?  Then there are all of the polymorph types and ninja animal forms...

Off Topic / Re: ENDERS GAME
« on: October 07, 2013, 04:35:21 PM »
This has been one of my favorite books since I was 12. Favorite being Enders Shadow but Enders Game is the next in line.

Im excited for the movie but at the same time, Im worried they will ruin the story and miss vital details.

Read Ender's Game, Starship Troopers, The Forever War, and Armor long ago.  If you're into that sort of stuff, they all kept me turning pages.

Couldn't get into the sequel to Ender's Game (Speaker for the Dead), seemed too apologetic, wonder if the later books in the series are worth reading.

Yeah, sometimes picking the carrier is most important part, though most allow you to bring your own device now, usually they push models and you can't get a better deal.  You can get a Galaxy S III from Sprint right now for free.  My wife and I have them, like them alright (not too fond of our carrier T-Mobile though).  Here's a link showing the technical differences between the S III and S 4:

http://www.versus.com/en/samsung-galaxy-s4-vs-htc-one

http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_iii_vs_galaxy_note_ii-review-830.php

The S 4's newer camera and full HD resolution would be nice, but not enough difference for me to run out and pick one up.  The Note II seems pretty unwieldy as a phone (too big)- though if someone had poor eyesight and planned to do a lot of browsing it might be nice (the PPI on the S4 , S III , and Note II are  441, 306, and 267 respectively).

C64 eh?

Fave C64 games:  Wizard's Crown, Castle Wolfenstein, Fort Apocalypse, Jumpman, Forbidden Forest.  Achtung!

Take a good whiff of that and Cthulhu will be rising in your chromosomes.  Ammonium chromate and mercury thiocyanide... folks downwind from the fume hood exhaust must love that scent.  Two hundred year old formula for snake fireworks was similar...
