Script Debug / First Script, help appreciated!

OK, so my very first script from scratch (be gentle). I've played around with others and I'm basically using snippets from different ones and what I've learned doing so to get started. Any help appreciated!



First Goal:
Use secondary character to repeatedly area peacemake and bandage primary character while being able to manually interrupt the loop to discord on my command.

So far I have two separate scripts that work-ish, but I would like to combine the two to accomplish my goal.


#1. Constant peacing and manual disco

Two questions. Does my second set of journal scans actually work like I think it does (only testing on easy things as I'm spending more time on the code than in-game)? Secondly, does the journal scan only scan the last line in the journal?

So I've tried to combine the two into one heal/peace/disco script but I keep shooting myself in the foot. Any pointers?




My LONG term goes is to be able to able to create something like:

heal primary when needed
constant peace loop
on primary character, through party chat - send monster ID to secondary character, break the heal/peace loop to disco the monster my primary is targeting

Just curious if these have any good uses at the moment? All the best gear appears to be made starting out with low end (spined/horned, shadow/copper) runics then imbuing/enhancing as far as I can tell.

General UO Chat / So much to do, don't know where to start

Same ol story, playing off and on for like 10 years. Got the itch again... Was hoping I could just get a shotgun blast of information on what's happening in today's UO (EA/Broadsword? servers). I don't have any method to my questions, just what I can think of right now. Any help is appreciated!



Where are the best items from (pvp and pve)? Crafted, Shame, Doom, Peerless, Imbuing, random turn-in sources, etc.?
-What mods should I be looking for (in general)?

Are all dungeons updated to the "new" Shame format?

Is the Abyss/Underworld/Peerless still relevant?

What are some of the strong templates used for farming the best items?

What are some easy farm spots I can start out on with a 120x tamer w/ greater dragon to get reacquainted to the game?
-Harder solo content?

Best all-around pets to use as a tamer?

Any current events going on? I think Blackthorn/Minax items farming was the thing to do during my last stretch.

What are the fun things you guys are currently doing?

I read the thread on the T-Hunters and that sounds like fun, are they still relevant? (have never had one before!)

What is PvP based around? VvV, Champ spawns, harrowers, Yew gate, etc?

Fun/interesting things to do in the latest xpac?

Other useful, up to date, websites? UOGuide, Searchuo, finduo, stratics, etc?

Active/mature guilds on Atlantic with voice comms that I could look into joining?

Anything else you think could be fun/relevant.

 
About me:
I plan on doing mostly solo, non-pvp, gameplay as I begin again, but would like to venture out as I get my bearings.
Currently on Atlantic with a few hundred million and developed characters/house.
Only 1 active account but wouldn't be against reactivating another.
My most recent break was around High Seas and haven't played any of the new xpac.

So I got this drop last night. I'm trying to figure out the possibilities of this thing...



Current imbue weight: 293

I've never used a Whetstone of Enervation, would removing the damage increase drop the weight to 193 and then have 3 total properties?

I don't really have a clue on a price or even if it's what people are looking for in pvp. Anyone have ballpark price check?

Any help/offers(Atlantic) welcome. Thanks

Just came back after a ~2 yr break (who doesnt?  ;) )

Looking to work my way back into PvE. Can anyone give a simple run-down of the different types of things I could be doing? Would like more info on Arties, Shame, Wrong, etc..

General UO Chat / Cant Patch/Login to UO

Anyone else having this prob or know how to fix it?


The patcher downloads the publish but i get the msg:

Error during session
Your client may not be the most recent version.
You may be able to play the game with your current client.
Check http://www.uo.com/ for help on resolving patching issues.
Click OK to play the game or Cancel to abort.


I click ok/cancel and I either get the "Couldn't connect to UO, please try again in a few moments" or it just crashes at "Connecting..." once i try to log in. Anyone know a fix? Thanks

Player Templates / Dream Suit (PvP Dexxer)

Alright, I've been wanting to upgrade my dexxer suit for awhile to be "elite" in all aspects. If gold is not an object, what would be the perfect suit? In this case we'll say the character is a non-casting, faction, human, archer (but other temps can still apply).

Priorities (somewhat in order):
resists (70,75,70,75,70)
hci -45
dci - 45
lmc - 40
mr - as much as possible
dmg inc - 60 (considering 40 from wep)
hp/str inc
stam/dex inc
mana/int inc

Slot to fill:
head
neck
chest
arms
gloves
legs
tailsman
earings
quiver/back
robe
sash
apron
ring
brace
feet

This is what I'm thinking:
mace and shield glasses
gladiators collar
rune beetle carapace
-arms
-gloves
fey leggings
primer on arms tailsman
resist earrings if needed, otherwise nocturn earings
quiver of infinity
cloak of power (wtb new graphic please)
lieutenant sash
crimson cincture
+4 int boots

jewelry is where this gets tricky as imbueing will be the way to go here. Ill use rough numbers as Im not positive on what exactly can go on them)

This leaves arms and gloves left. Rather than making up random numbers on the peices, ill define what is needed/wanted on them.

to be max resists and corpse proof need:
4 phys
30 fire
16 cold
37 poison
5 energy




Your thoughts/critiques?

Would also like to see what you guys have in mind for other tamplates (necro mage, stealth archer, stealth ninja, archer tamer, anything and everything)

UO-Related Tutorials / Primeval Liche Spawn [Pics]

Did this spawn after we found it....

First lvl
gore fiends and vampire bats. first lvl, easy


Second lvl
flesh golems and dark wisps. dark wisps are no joke, mess you up if you get too many on you/dont pay attention


Levers
not sure what they do but you can switch em on and off, maybe someone can shed some light?


Third lvl
i forgot to take a pic, i know im pretty bad at this. wrights and undead gargoyles. wrights are pretty cool looking but a pretty tough mob, best to use undead slayers and fire spells for this lvl


Fourth lvl
dream wraiths and skeletal drakes. wraiths are awsome looking but cast on you a ton and have a bit of hp. skeletal drakes best taken down with reptile slayers



Champ
Primeval Lich. Actually pretty easy compared to the other new champ. Let a dragon tank him and just go to town. Undead slayers again.

UO-Related Tutorials / Abyssal Infernal [Pics]

Got the guild together to do the new Champ Spawns today and thought Id take some pics so you guys know what youre in for


Forgot to take a pic of the first lvl but its pretty simple. It consists of Framiliars and Chaos Daemons. 1 whither for Framiliars, 2 for Daemons


Second lvl
Pretty easy aswell, Daemon slayer spellbook comes in handy here as it takes out the casting Daemons with 1 ebolt, harpys a bit more annoying, 3-4 whithers. Also the little crystals spawn on the ground, not sure if they do anything.



Third lvl
Pretty hard, I followed greater dragons around and just whither ontop of them. pit fiends have a real annoying aoe to inturupt you. the blue Molochs or whatever are a couple ebolts. Fire/poison fields also spawn on the ground, do not hurt you.



Fourth lvl
I forgot to take a ss but theres some pics of the mobs in the second Champ SS. Archdemon and infernal abominatins. Archs go down quick but the abominations have real high resists

Champ
Not too hard. He spawns random mobs in bunches at a time with the likes of firesteeds, nightmares, phoenixes, fire elementals, hellcats. Also, if you use spells on him be prepared to get teleported to a random location in the zone and frozen for the duration, and then teleported back. This gives time for mobs to beat on ya so hopefully u have peace/chug/etc to stay alive










Got these named weps inside our packs as the boss died

Scripting Chat / Imbueing Script?

With SA right around the corner, I was wondering if anyone is working on an Imbueing trainer and whether or not it was going to be public or elite. I think it would be a great way to draw people to the site



plus I don't want carpel tunnel  ;)

Inactive Submissions / Hiding/Stealth Trainer

There's quite a bit of hiding and/or stealth trainers out there but none that I've found seem to use the most optimal method. Some will simply hide over and over while waiting for the 11 second skill timer, with this you will only have to wait 5 seconds! Some stealth trainers will hide, and then wait again for the skill timer to stealth, with this you will stealth as soon as you are hide via moving.

I edited the script to constantly hide while before it would only hide after you failed a stealth check, this will cause for more gains in both hiding and stealthing. I also edited out the error messages that the character would say in game to now pop up in a menu.

I'm using a hiding/stealth training script but I feel it could be better but my scripting ability is limited

This will only attempt to hide if I become unhidden but im trying to figure out how to keep my character constantly attempting to hide, even when its already hidden.

I know i need to get rid of the "If H notIn #charStatus" If's, but im not sure what i should be replacing it with. I assume ill need a simple "event Macro 13 21" loop but im not sure how to keep it going in the background while the character is moving

Suggestions?
