Computer Rigs / Re: Since every1 else is posting their computer problems

There is a switch on the power supply that should be set to 110/120, but some manufactures set the default to 210/220. Also is it totally dead or do you get any beep codes? Also if it's an IBM product, some models are noted for this type of behavior, try this:

1. Remove the power cord from the wall, but leave it connected to the power supply.
2. Short all three prongs of the power cord preferably with resisters but any wire will do.
3. Push the power button on the computer.
4. Remove the resisters/shorts from the power cord.
5. Plug it back into the wall and see if the computer powers on. If not repeat process.

Note: Make sure the wall jack does have power, test with a lamp. Your might be surprised.

Yep I'm nine years poor too. I used to use eBay for stuff I wanted for the game. Back in the day when housing was impossible to get and people could own as many houses as they wanted I paid $125 real American, for a one room cottage by the water, now you can get a full size tower in game for 5 mil gold, geez!

Yep I remember Salvage 1:

Once upon a time, a junkman had a dream... "I'm gonna build a spaceship, go to the moon, salvage all the junk that's up there, bring it back and sell it."
So he put together a team. An ex-astronaut...a fuel expert...they built a rocket ship...
And they went to the moon. Who knows what they'll do next?

Humm, I thought it was much older then 1979 but that's what Salvage 1 web site says. As I recall it did not last but a few episodes, 19 to be exact.

How about this older one: It's About Time

It's about time; it's about space, about strange people in the strangest place.

I too started out in the Atlantic shard years ago, but the players did not seem to friendly back then so I moved on to another shard. TrailMyx is right that, "scripts will change your game play". I've been able to accomplish legendary in Lore/Vet/Music/Peace and am working on legendary taming. That is something that I'd been working on the old fashioned way, dying of boredom and getting nowhere. Finally decided enough was enough sold my Tower and moved to a swampy area, very little foot traffic and no inquisitive neighbors to report scripter's. Scripts are a good thing!

I've been a UO player on an OSI shard for just over nine years now. Have always done things the hard way (without scripting) but have grown weary of being broke and working forever to get skills to legendary status.

Recently some of the scripts that I have tried worked very well, others are old/broken.  I've tried scripting in EasyUO and have had some success and a lot of failures; however I have been able to fix/customize some scripts for my own purposes.

Just downloaded ScriptUO but have not had a chance to try it out, but it looks like a prayer answered. I have programmed in Basic, Quickbasic and Visual Basic, so script coding does not seem to foreign. I just need to get the syntax and the "does and don'ts" figured out.
