Hi, first i want to say is that i'm trying to learn Stealth but there are some things that i can't really get along with.
First of all, Gumps, i don't really know how to implement those in my scripts, i was trying to do a simple script, i just wanted that my char pops up a gump, then buy something and finally move that item to my bank, everything in the same spot.
I am struggling a lot with this, how does stealth manage gumps? When i learnt EUO it was everything self explaining, but i'm having a lot of problems with gumps and strings, i don't quite get the idea of what is a string, and im getting frustrated when i see that i can't do what i want to do on stealth like with EUO.
I'm really helpless, if anyone out there could give some advice on how to learn and improve.. i would really appreciate it.

I think one of the biggest issues of every freeshard are PLAYERS as mentioned before, everytime i was looking for a freeshard i was trying to chose the one with the highest number of players + max content of SA/HS, but as i figured out, there are a lot of people that hate imbuing and the new system.
One of the main reasons to play UO is skill development but another important reason (and for me the fun part) is spending time on making suits from barbed runics or valorite hammers, right now, where i play, there are implemented mostly every single arty from HS and SA, but imbuing is deactivated, so it promotes that kind of old school uo.
I have to say i've played 2 years on an imbuing server and it's not that bad, you only have to get used to it and his new possibilities.
So Players + Development = Success imo.
Sorry for my english i know i messed up with the writing quite a few times.

It's probably the gump, let me check it out by myself, and i will come with an answer soon, probably before this weekend, i'm busy with a lot of stuff that i dont even play, but i will try to keep providing support to my macros.
Edit: I'm an amateur scripter and i was figuring out what was happening on demise, the problem is when you use my macro, the last gump opened is the npc's paperdoll, so that's why it keeps running and running in circles and calling for quest without accepting it, at this point of my knowledge i have no clue on how to fix that, so i'm really sorry that i can't fix it. Good luck finding a solution i have no time for it. Thanks by the way for using this script.

Im not able to learn stealth or other scripting languages at this moment, so i just wanna share my poor knowledge with those guys who doesn't know yet how to use easyuo properly, as all of u did with us when we didnt know how to script not even a single lane of code =) thx crome

Well first of all, i want to thank everybody in this forum for doing this awesome web possible. Second i want to thank TrailMyx and Crome because all the stuff they did here made this quester possible, i learned a lot from you two guys.
So here i go, this is my first released script and hope i continue doing stuff like this. I've been asked to do this on my server by some guildmates and i just wanted to share it here, because i think its updated to the last patch and can work everywhere.
I have to thank Crome again, because i used his Crome's heartwood quester as a base for doing this script, so i hope you don't mind on what i did here, if u have any issue with it i will just delete this post (really hope you don't =))
So here is the deal, you will need Kalocr on the same folder as you save this script, because i call it on one sub to read the quest title and accept it. The script is set to do Neccesity's Mother quest as i wanted to farm Scrapper's compendium and Pendant of the magi recipes.
Its so easy you just need a lot of iron on your backpack a couple of tinker tool's and also you have to do A TINKER TOOL BEFORE YOU RUN THE SCRIPT this is very important because i use make last for crafting.
You can use a beetle also, all you have to do is follow the setup and when it says target your runic tool box target the beetle.
The script will save talismans and rare recipes.
So i hope you can give me a good feedback and also if u have any ideas on how to improve it, just say it! I' will try to add it. Good luck guys.

If im not wrong, thats related to a lag issue with the server, are u playing a freeshard? if u're playing it i recommend you to check for the bods that make it stuck, they normally are the same, at least for me and get them away from the bulk order book.

« on: May 04, 2013, 10:34:09 AM »ok, i loaded this BoD filler, setup a secure chest with a huge stack of folded cloth (1 stack, 1 color) the BoD book and a stack of spined leather because the only BoDs i had in book were cloth & spined. had my trash barrel, backpack cleaned out. i hit play. did the setup targeting and was about to go afk when i noticed i had a targeting cursor on screen and nothing appeared to be happening.
in a nutshell, the script grabbed a BoD & cloth and knew what item to make but it wasn't targeting the pile of cloth to make item. just for testing, i targeted the pile, and again, and again. when it made the req'd amount of items, it immediately stuffed them into the BoD, put BoD in book, grabbed another and did exact same thing. i had to manually target cloth pile to get items made but script did all the other work.
anyone else having this issue? i stopped after the 2nd BoD to see if i can get some help so i can run it 'hands free' like i was hoping.

Targeting the pile of cloth? im not sure if i understand you, but when you make a item u drag over ur container and drop over your backpack, so all you have to do is just make the item on the sewing kit till it runs out of cloth right?
And Crome thanks for your support, im working on a different heartwood macro with ocr recogning, and just found out that kali made an exceptional script to help newbies like me to use ocr and perform difficult tasks, once i finish it i will post it, so everyone can work it.
In the other hand, like you said im playing on a freeshard so if i can i will just modify it for me only, because noone will have this issue if they are not playing my server.

Then you can see offsets and compare with script.
I completely understand your point of no supporting freeshards, but as a newbie scripter, this kind of errors are making me improve on my scripting, so i just ask for the tips to fix it by myself. I would like to contribute in the future with all of you.
I did some testing on it, if im running one of those bods and i pause the macro and change the last item made to the proper, it fills the bod without any issues, so i think the problem is completely on the first item that it mades.
As i said, i can handle the macro just checking for these bods before i start to roll the macro, there is no need to get worried about it, so again thanks both for your help.
What you also could keep in mind => Runuo have not the same kind of displaying items. So some items also could be in wrong categories for items.

Are you sure this happens with these specific bods, and not just randomly with any bods ? That issue you're having seems to be related to lag spikes, and if so, could happen with just any item...

I have to say that i've checked the whole macro, and is just wonderfully scripted, but i had to do some changes to some types, cuz they were wrong on my shard, but after that, everything was going smoothly till i found the problem with that bods.
The point is that im still not enough good at scripting to correct it myself, if i were just enough good as you i would just send you a pm with my fix so u could post it here or do whatever with it, but im a newbie so... let me know if u could give it a try to fix it, if not i can handle it perfectly just by removing them from my books
