I absolutely run EP ring, the one I have been using is 50% with 14HCI 11 DCI and some other mod. My brace is HCI 15 DCI 14 DI 25 phys 8.
I rarely if ever run out of mana (unless someone hits me with a mana vamp). I run 80 medi and all of my suit items have MR2. I mean yeah i use the faction items but the gorget and arms get MR2. Not much slows me down and I am willing to take on some really crazy odds with this temp. Even against stealth dismount tamers with Greater Dragons, I just nerve strike the dragon and poison the tamer , hide to lose the dragon and get on the stealther like mad. If it gets ugly and I am mana vamped I use a mana draught and hide or teleport (scrolls are you friend) like a mother until i can hide again. My biggest problem these days is getting people to stand and throw down with me, they seem to only get brave in groups of 5 or more. Then they flee when the first guy drops.
