Making 80-90% elemental damage 100%

I remember there used to be a way to make a 80-90% poison weapon to 100% by enhancing it through smithing.  Can anyone refresh my memory on how this is done?  Can can it be done with other elements?

Which ore added poison damage? There was something about the order the elemental damage was added to the weapon, don't remember what it was.

Search stratics smithy forum, it might be in the stickies. I can't get to it from here.

will do.  Afte my nap, been a long day and need a nap bad but wanted to put up some useful info for people and get my questions out.  I know it automaticly takes physcial dmg first though right?

I believe it was copper (although it's been a helluvalongtime so don't quote me on that) and I don't believe that works anymore.

I don't believe any ore did poison.  shadow was cold and brz was fire and val may of been energy... but poison did not have one. I know that because i was super bummed that I could not do poison ones

Hey I remembered it was copper! Wow, I'm not really old anymore! Woohoo!

I didn't remember that the issue was actually that the 10% poison got put on but so did 20% energy so you could never hit 100% poison. Man that was back in my Atl, living in Snake's Pass days!
