How to detect if it's an actual Player vs NPC?

Ok.... so what I used to do is scan for the appropriate NPC titles .. example  ( the Healer / the mage / etc ) but now with the new titles that's no longer valid.   I know in certain cases you can use #findrep but I'm looking for a bullet proof method other than that.   So far the easiest idea I've come up with is to open the paperdol of the target in question and scan for Blessed or Insured Items.  The problem with this is that it requires your target to be on screen long enough to complete that action which isn't always the case with recalling in & out or even running a quick Rail..   Anyway...   I'm just looking for ideas of what other's have used etc..  Thx.

Keep thinking and you will stumble onto a method that is fairly ingenious. Its not Bullet Proof, but its fairly ingenious.
