There is definitely a formula for item value.  I think it's based on imbuing weight.  A 100% energy hammer pick with 26% HLL was less than 1 point.  We're not going to be imbuing our way to riches this time...

I just got done testing various runic/material combinations.  They have some kind of multiplier working in there, I'm trying to figure out what that is now.

Actually, this looks pretty simple now that I break it down.  Depending on imbuing weight, items can score anywhere between 0 and ~25 pts.

The multiplier seems to be the material score multiplied by the amount needed to make the item.  (Valorite mempo is 18 ingots x 10pts per val ingot)

Then just add the two together and that's how items are being scored.  At least for crafted and looted items. :)

Ship wrecked items are 100 points each (all I was able to check on on the test shard which was the fishing net, 3-4 types of shells, barrel staves (but not the partial barrel itself ?!? go figure), fish heads, and the ship wrecked chests......FYI
