I am haveing a ball runing Tm's fully Auto Fisherman and makeing tons of cash selling off the aceint nets, colored nets, and white chests.
no idea but i assume logging out/in to get your pet there still works so it was a worthless change.
More of a total annoyance change. Who the heck wants to walk their pet through all that pain and chaos to finally get to do something. It just doesn't make any sense.
That sucks we used to throw nets off the docks all the time
actually i did it on 3 fabled maps yesterday on my archer. when spawn starts i honor myself (which makes it so nothing attacks me) i kill all the little spawn including the krakens using just a fast shortbow. once everything but lev. is dead i honor it and use a 100% energy bow and kill it.
Were you doing this off your boat? I have a hard time doing things like that on a boat because of my inherent need to run. I can't count how many time I've driven my ghost-ship to a healer. lol.
But your method sounds like even a big chicken like me could probably handle.
On my shard, tickets are going for 500,000gold for a 10,000 point ticket which works out to 50 gold/point. If it takes around 6K boards per hour for the heartwood quester and 9500 points/hr for the items, that works out to about 79 gold/board. That's not including the occasional runic kit or uber item. Just free items that I've been throwing away for years.
Also that works out to about 475000 gold/hr. Speaking gold that is. I won't be selling these items from the spring cleaning.. I'll bet on a populated shard, these numbers could easily be doubled.
You know, I think I get the best tickets/hr by turning in the leavings from the Heartwood quest. I average around 9500 points/hr just turning in recipes and talismans. It's a good byproduct if you are doing heartwood anyway. Bowcraft is slower than carpentry just because of the time it takes to select the correct quest.
For the archer template, would be lot better to have bushido on him for maximum luck. Question: if u embrace honor, and u attack something, does everything else attack u then? Or just the creature u attacked? Might be a way to pull it off, kill sidespawn first, then honour Leviathan and finish him off...?
I've gotten about 600k + points with the fisher and at times it runs 10-11 hours before i stop it, or the bank is full. The only thing is, occasionally it gets stuck on a spot in water trying to go back one or right one.. oh, and it doesn't like to find the banker at yew bank occasionally.

Yeh, the Yew bankers tend to wander a lot more than others, so if they aren't in range, they won't react to "bank" and that'll mess things up. I used to use Yew myself but recently have moved to a bank with more bankers and they wander less.
There are some old sailing issues.. Oh well, 99.9% of the time it's ok.The problem is that it has logic to be sure that the serpent doesn't get stuck on the ship when you close into it for looting, but due to lag/timing sometimes the logic can fail. At one time there wasn't any logic preventing this, so you'd end up sailing alot more than you see now.

Ok, I went to this one with VERY LOW EXPECTATIONS. I'm not a Robert Downey Jr. fan whatsoever, so my expectations where extra low for this. However, I came out of the movie nearly in shock because the whole experience was way above my expectations. RDJ was excell... excel.... exce..., ugh I can't say it. He was pretty good.
The movie itself was very well put together and there was enough special effects to keep the WoW-going crowd happy. Overall, it was a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

Hey TM. I've noticed that the fisher has been crashing here and there on me. It also hasn't always been looting the serpents sometimes. I've been trying to figure it out, but its so rare to happen. I figured I'd post this here as a marker. I'll let you know if I find out what is wrong or how to reproduce it.
Hardyz, I was thinking about this more and I think I addressed this one by just increasing the waits for the exevent stuff. It's amazing how much affect by adding a little wait to an exevent drag/drop. Too fast and you can crash constantly, however slow enough and you can *almost* remove all crashes. They never completely go away however.
Also, I looked at the old fisher compared to the FaF, and I believe the fix for it not looting the corpse is that you need to put an additional wait into the script after you sense the corpse. You basically have to 1) detect corpse 2) wait xx 3) detect corpse again because of the way UO spawns items. (ever notice why there are more than one name that pops up on a monster when it spawns? There's a split second time when it spawns with another #FINDID)
