I've been molesting an arduino board lately and thought maybe I would ask here.
I'm looking for sites to compare prices on component level stuff.
Currently I've only got these bookmarked...
http://www.allelectronics.com/ (http://www.allelectronics.com/)
http://dipmicro.com/store/ (http://dipmicro.com/store/)
http://www.inmojo.com/ (http://www.inmojo.com/)
http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1 (http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1)
http://www.sparkfun.com/ (http://www.sparkfun.com/)
http://www.cutedigi.com/ (http://www.cutedigi.com/)
Does anyone have any other decent stores?

Personally still really like pricewatch.com for all of my computer component needs.

Wow...Pricewatch was the big site when I was in college. Didn't know it was still around. Good to Know.

Yep, still alive and kicking! And still one of the absolute best IMO. :)

+1 for pricewatch, although I haven't build my own system since 2004.

I've never been to that one before. I am looking for sites with basic IC sets, relays, project components, ect. I didn't see many but from what I see I like it.
I need a new desktop computer. Might have to do a little more research and compare prices with that site compared to others.
I don't really have a lot of knowledge since I feel like computer cards and parts are outdated so often. Too much to keep up with.

www.newegg.com for components and cables etc. good sales too.
-
www.tigerdirect.com ... but really only because their is an outlet store 1/2hr drive from me... so i can just go get it.
-
if you need cables for anything, check out monoprice.com (http://monoprice.com)

I got a crazy good deal on a laptop from here.

Hasn't monoprice had 2 or 3 catastrophic security failures resulting in their customers credit card info being stolen?

Those are the two sites I've been browsing thanks to you UOMaddog. I was just on those sites 5 minutes ago. My mouth starts watering, my hands start shaking and beads of sweat start forming on my forehead when I'm browsing those sites. Too much stuff on there I want and can't have and probably don't need but it's fun to look at some of the new hardware that's coming out on the market. 8)

You guys love computers. I never really got crazy about the latest and greatest personal computers.
You guys should really look at www.Arduino.cc
It's open source hardware as well as software. For me it closes a gap between the software and hardware in present day electronics we see and use on a daily basis.
Has anyone messed with any project boards? (Arduino or otherwise?)

Anyone heard anything about www.ibuypower.com ?

I've used plenty of Arduinos. In fact, we designed a bottling system that ran completely off of sensors and motors powered by the basic Arduino Uno controller. I've also used the ArduinoMega! That thing was awesome. I've dabbled with MAKE controllers (using Xilinx) and other similar boards as well. I personally still enjoy the Arduinos the most!.
