I thought the changes to Necro affected all forms? You need the skill or you revert out of the form.

Still working out the kinks on this template.  Dropping Parry and Bushido for two reasons, 1. pet is there to tank, get more necro and SS.  Already got tactics to 69, so thinking this....

Taming 105
Lore 105
Magery 120
Tactics 100
Vet 120
Chiv 80
SS 100
Necro 50

Adding in extra to the skills needed, birds talisman to bring up taming and lore.  Necro and some other skills will come from gear.  Basicly in Wraith form with a bow to leech mana for heals ect.

Why bother to take magery to 120? There really arent any offensive lvl 8 spells, and at 110 magery you NEVER fail at the lvl 7 spells..I think taking magery to 120 is a waste of 10 skill points...

in my opinion of course...
The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.....  If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Doesn't magery skill effect how many points are healed using Greater Heal?

To figure how much is healed this formula is used.

skill x 0.4 (plus 1-10 random added)

so at 110 = 44 + 1-10
    at 120 = 48 + 1-10

since he is planning on hunting with a CU or GD I dont think the +4 is going to make that much difference...and it might not be + anything depending on the RNG.

since you could have 44+10 = 54 at 110 skill   and
                             48+1 = 49 at 120 skill

I think he would be better off putting the 10 magery points into something else.

Necro From being Human = 20
Monkeys and Typewriters!

Actually, at 106 magery you won't fail magery spells of lvl 7 so there are 14 points to play with.

here is what i am using and it is going great for me

115 animal taming
115 animal lore
100 vet
100 any wep skill
100 tactics
100 bushido
90 necro

and use
midnight bracers for 110 necromancy
birds of bri tali for 120 taming and lore

Armor
Armor of fortune
ornament of magician
stichers mittens
midnght bracers
jackels coller

and you can use whatever u want with pants and rings or whatever u have laying around
