For any and all programmers out there, Paypal is running a contest:

At last month's official PayPal X launch, we announced the PayPal X Developer Challenge, our contest to help foster innovation and excellence in PayPal X app development. Winners will receive cash and waived transaction processing fees (totaling up to US$150,000), as well as exposure for their apps. 
 
We know you have great ideas to monetize your apps with the PayPal APIs that will change the way the world pays. Here's your chance to win cash, waived transaction processing fees, exposure for you and your ideas, and bragging rights! In the PayPal X Developer Challenge we are looking for the most innovative applications that open payment capabilities for businesses, especially in the areas of Social Media, Gaming/Entertainment, E-commerce, and Mobile/Consumer Electronics. 
 
Whether you've already developed an app with Adaptive Payments, or are getting started developing - there's still time to participate - but you have to work fast. 
 
There are a few key dates coming up: 
 
1. Register for the contest by Dec. 16. Registration is easy; you just need to give us one or two sentences about your concept. 
 
2. Submit a live app and demo video by Feb. 7, 2010. (Note that PayPal has an application process that can take up to 3 weeks, so apply for approval before Jan 17). 
 
3. Winners will be announced in March 2010.

Oracle has provided a valid linking for this contest.

From www.paypal.com click on the Developers tab.

Then click the orange "Explore Now" box.

Then Click on the orange "Enter Now" button and it will take you to the link.

Looks like an interested project.  I think I may see a few of you at the starting line.  We have a few weeks to come up with an Idea and then several more to develop the idea.
