Triple Berry Crisp

This is a wonderful berry crisp. I use a triple berry mixture of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries, but just one type of berry works well too! Some folks add peaches or apricots. If you do I would add a little more cinnamon. Serve it with whipped cream or ice cream. It is simple & fast to make!

Prep
20 mins

Cook
40 mins

Ready in 1 hour

1 1/2 cups fresh blackberries
1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
4 tablespoons white sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, gently toss together blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and white sugar; set aside. (If using frozen fruit, *I do* you should thaw the fruit and then add the white sugar.) Frozen fruit seems to give more juice than fresh berries.
In a separate large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cut in butter until crumbly. (I cut up cold butter into small cubes and use a pastry cutter and tosee the cubes around a little and then microwave the dry ingredients and butter for 15 to 30 seconds to soften it a little, then cut the butter and mix until pea size crumbles form.)

Press half of the crumble mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan or large Pyrex dish. Then cover with the berries. Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture over the berries.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until fruit is bubbly and topping is golden brown. You might want to use a cookie sheet or foil to catch any thing that bubbles over if you use a pan that fits all the mix to the top edges of the pan.

Hello from Wasilla Alaska!
I am a player of Ultima Online since 97. I have used EasyUO back in the early years, but even then I didn't learn how to write scripts. I worked as an RN many hours back then and paperwork for the job was double the work. Finding time to play was a challenge. I got sick 05 and I left UO for about 4 years while in and out of hospitals having surgeries! JOY! They could not fix my brain but they did do an overhaul on the rest of me for the most part.
OK! My game style is this. I PvM some, I PvP some, but I am not good at it, but I don't mind dying either. I love to support the PvP part of game because that to me is the most fun you can have in UO. I have nothing against the trammie but if I had my choice I would PvP and skip the rest. Here is my problem though. I have had a lot of upper back surgeries and gut surgeries. 25 to be exact since 05. Some of you might be guessing who I am in game by now. *waves* I mainly play Lake Superior, Atlantic, Chessy, Cats, Great Lakes, Baja and a few Asian shards too. Lake Superior is my main home. I would LOVE to learn how to write scripts, make them work, help others make them work. and bring more friends to this community that I know who would crack most of you up any and every time they post. Humor is a powerful & positive thing.
I have lived in Arizona, CT, CA, TX, OK, worked as an RN in TX and in Alaska for 23 years before I became disabled with my back issues. I am unable to pvp well because if I tense up my arms, upper back, or jerk my neck too much, which includes talking into a mic loudly saying things such as *Veper (players name) to the right"  or "dreamy (players name) to the NE" this will cause muscle spasms and I end up having to activate a paralytic that's in a pump inside of me. This pump pushes a medicine into my spine that prevents my muscle from working. It is to help the muscle die that needs to die, that continues to fight to live. Basically a major charlie horse is a spasm in my upper back. I have a 7 level plate that prevents my back from moving. Some muscles pull and push to move arms and even hands. Mind refuse to atrophy. Hence the medicine via internal pump. I don't mean to turn this into a medical journal but I am leading up to why I finally decided to move back to scripts. This whole muscle spasm thing shouldnt last forever. . We are just waiting for the muscle to give out.
I feel without scripters the game would die. Supply and demand is faltering. People only have so much time to play and they need a lot more than they can obtain manually and need us to supply them with basic crafting supplies. I have had carpal tunnel surgery bilateral due to UO in the past, by playing by their TOS. It is more than evident that they are not going to stop scripters and they see the need for it as well. That is where I stand on scripting.
I own a Large Luna shop on LS, I live in fel, I supply PvP supplies to do my part in keeping the game fun. I look forward to testing new scripts and maybe even writing my own to help others down the line.
If there is anything else you wish to know about me, ask away. I am easy going and don't mind sharing. I have many friends here. Friends for life.
Cheers! to you all. I hope I am accepted into this group. It would improve my game production a lot for sure. THANK YOU! For reading this lengthy intro.
