I am newly returning from 20 year break so not sure about these events.

Green thorns have went from 20-30k per to 35-95k per in the last week. I have been closely watching vendor search on LS.

historically do you think thorns will continue to climb?

My thought is that the thorn event still has many unknowns we do not know such as what the rewards are, drop rate of the counterfeit eggs,  cost for the rewards.

Looking at the deciet event there were some really high lv rewards (10% ssi cloak, 50 sdi book, taalisman, samp arms...) im not sure if this lv of rewards is normal or not. If the lv of reward is the same I can see everyone buying thorns like crack on the 1st of the month. If the rewards are decorative or just low lv stuff thorns will drop like a prom date.

Anyone have any thought? I bought a ton of thorns just seeing what others think

If I am reading this right (im prob not lol) the script checks the backpack for the 8 gem types and total # of them. Then moves gems to the gem bag that the ID was made when starting the script in set up.
I am thinking this would be the easiest to add the ore types here so they are treated the same.
My concern is the

would I have to make another sub for ore or can I add gems and ore together. and if adding to one would I need to call the ore gems?

if %findtype = JKH  (item type for normal granite)

Please don't tell me the answer im trying to learn.

If you set your first pick axe to also farm stone it does. The problem being thee script does not unload the stone into the secure @ the house and will eventually over weight you. So is my thinking right:

Find line where you recall home after weight check
There should be type ID's for all the different ore  types it puts in the chest. Add the stone ore types to this line and it should also unload the stone.
To do this you need to set smelt = false or it will try to smelt the stone and crashes the script.

Does it seem im on the right path?

Is fishing still a viable skill to spend time scripting? When I looked it up it seemed that all the items were outdated and not worth much, not sure if im missing something.

Patch 115 announced a fishing pole that does not catch footwear.

Hall has to be open.
Open hall he grabs bots around 30 left and grabs 1000 more.
Hall closed he runs out and message "trying to recover arrows if possible"

I did have him standing next to hall so arrows were in arm reach
With hall closed I had arrows @ his feet and he did not pick them up

Amazing work man, hope this helps

Decided to add archery to the medusa egg template I will do the entire template in that post.

0-40 Haven
40.1-101.4 Wolf spider over night just let it run.
101.4 started this

I was worried about set up and getting this running it seemed extremity complicated to get all this going. I was wrong again took 2 minutes pretty much load and play.  Working as intended, I will report back if he grabs bolts from the hall of the ship. I did open the hall and have it sitting open if that does not work I will repeat process with hall closed. I will report findings on both ways.

Script Debug / Re: Eggscavator (Medusa keys) beta

I will try this tonight and report what I see.

From what you said that if you walk threw a mob for example there is a chance to be reveled this will happen on this script. When it ran for about 2 hours from the snakes coming up out of the holes there were tons and tons of snakes in the area. The longer the script runs there are more snakes so goes to reason if that is the way stealth works we will be reviled eventually.

I am excited to see the invs/hide to see how long it runs.

Made a char to try this out. gm hide, 110 mage, 120 stealth, gm med 110 music.
all you really need is hide and stealth.

I experimented a little before running the script no music vs. 110 music it seemed I failed a lot less. I am dealing with a very small sample so could be RNG i do not know but i had the pts so added music.

The original V_3 works very well. Occasionally I come out of hiding and get swarmed by snakes. I have never really played a thief template so I don't know if you need to rehide or anything every so often or not. im @ gm hiding 120 stealth and striped nekked and it still came unhidden about 45 min in.

The latest version posted by Gaderian a few post up just has the stealther wandering around and never playing the flute. I tried this first then the other so did not look into this at all. Please let me know how I can help further on this.

Conclusion: Died 3 times, eggs are blessed so didn't matter. collected 45 eggs so I call that a win

I am making a guy to give this a shot. So far I have gm mage/med/hide/stealth

Being it is a flute would I want music on the char?
Am I missing any other needed skills?

lake superior, have way to much PC and internet for this game. so lag/ping shouldn't be an issue but i will fire it up again and check ping.

I have run this before overnight and never had a problem was really surprised it did this. I thought you changed something so just turned off and reported back. I will give it another shot and let ya know.

Started with an empty pack except rune books and 1 tool. Beginning ran as it should grabbed ingots, made shovel cleaned up and started.
Problem that crashed it was it tries to recall to the spot your standing on and loops forever there. To prove this I manualy moved off the spot and he recalled back.

  TravelFromRunebook_loop1:
    set #LOBJECTID !rbook
    set #LTARGETKIND 1
    event macro 17 0
    gosub XIIxGumpWait generic_gump generic_gump

    set !runeclickx 140 ; page 1, rune 1
    set !runeclickx ( #CONTPOSX + !runeclickx + ( 35 * ( ( !locindex - 1 ) / 2 ) ) )
    if !locindex > 8

I am pretty sure where I was looping.
side note my weight was 522/537 and was still recalling to a dig spot
I will mess with it more tonight and try to get more info for you.
