The status bar and new art dont work when i use this.

When you downloaded it did you get the most recent version? A few of the versions messed up the status bar(meaning the numbers did not align to its specified name) so you might have an older version of AssitUO.

and make sure it is pointing to latest client.exe

It is.  It works if I start AssistUO as an admin.  However, if I run assistUO as an admin, the program doesn't recognize 90% of my mouse functions.  It recognizes left and right click and mouse wheel forward and backward. It ignores the buttons and side scroll.

If I don't run assistuo as an admin, it does recognize those functions but the status bar is messed up and a lot of new art doesnt show, which is potentially an issue in pvp(being blocked by invisible crap = bad).

It was changed to UO Steam and then abandoned and the site removed. Here is a link to the final version hosted by a guild I think. http://uosteam.thefoamingsquirrels.com/
