Welcome and at times there has been some chat of starting a ventrillo chat room, but we thought it would take away from the actual boards and written word that someone could come back to for reference.  So we feined away from this idea.

As I agree with the assessment I believe that you would be correct on I think it would probably take away from the boards. I am just trying to figure out how people link up and communicate for game play? since it seems there are less and less players every year, it's harder and harder to find people to link up with and play, or the size of UO keeps growing and people are harder to find in play.  And I know that playing alone for long periods of time is why alot of people switch to other games instead of UO.  Any Idea's?

Most of us play on different shards, but if you want to list the shards you play normally.  You might find someone interested that plays on one of the ones you play on.

I have characters everywhere. When you no longer have to sit there mashing the keyboard for hours on end you find that gameplay becomes a lot more enjoyable and building characters on multiple shards not only becomes easier, but it can also lead to obsessive character building!

I don't get to actually play much anymore it seems but when I do I can play just about anywhere and with anyone I want. I do have a couple of "Home shards", and LS was one for a stint, but I can solo an Ingeniously treasure map on about a dozen shards, do a spawn on even more shards, farm resources on almost all of them, etc.

Be careful not to catch that bug ;)

I believe it can be a very infectious bug.  I resist the temptation until I have one shard where I would like that chard to be. lol
