advice needed for better ping for UO

ok u verse is gone. i am now Charter Spectrum. it is blazing fast but my ping in game log in is 375ms. my internet is 65mbdl and 4.5 mbul. can anyone give me any advice. with u verse internet was 25 mbdl and 1.5 mbul but ping was 65ms. i am hard wired to the router. router is netgear R6300v2.

have you try to remove the router and connect directly to the modem to see if you have the same ping.  Maybe your router is dieying

Crisis:
Ghost is right, routers can start failing within a year, especially if you have had power surges or power outages. They still work, just not as well. I usually replace mine once a year, definitely by the 2nd year.
