I ran this script without problem for a long time, but now he just keeps crabbing and gets overweight and still keeps going.
Any ideas how to fix it?

Sorry I wanted to post this sooner but got side tracked. I messed with the delay and it still didn't fix they ghost image problem, but I did find a bandaid workaround for it. I have my miner equipped with a -magery staff (to fight off small spawn). so all I do is each time before I start the script is un-equip and re-equip his staff. Then when it gets to the point in the script where it ghosts the image, it ghosts the staff, and that doesn't affect the script.

Yes on production shards. It happens all the time on my one computer (so much so that I dont even run the script on it any more) and it happened for the first time on my other computer last night. I will freely admit that I know next to nothing about scripting, but it seems it happens because the delay between opening the house secure, and opening the backpack is too short, because I almost always see the message "you must wait to perform another action" I think maybe its not actually re-opening the backpack because of it.

ok,i know I'm a pain... lol

I run this script on 2 different computers, same files on both, but on the one computer i keep getting a "ghost" image of ore (or a gem) in my pack when he goes to empty. I have to pause the script each time because he tries to empty and gets stuck tying to pick up something that isn't there. I have to re-open his backpack so it goes away. Can someone tell me what (and where) to add so the script open his pack each time before emptying?

Yeah, I feel dumb. That was it. Apparently the first set of .mul files I got weren't any good. Got a new set now all my broken scripts work. Thank you.

OMG thank you all so much, for some reason the set of .mul files I had gotten before worked for awhile, then stopped. The set that bodfather posted the link for fixed it (again) for me. Stupid me for not realizing not all .mul files are created equal... lol.

FYI this no longer works for me either. I had it working after adding the .mul files. then 2 patches ago it stopped working and I havent had time to mess with it. I just now tried to do it again and it just recalls to the first spot and stands there.

Was hoping to do some fishing but can't get it to work :(

The Dungeon Fisher works fine up until I hit my first fishing spot, it recalls in and does nothing, Spot Tester is the same way, start it and nothing happens.

i would imagine it is due to EA's removal of all the map files causing easy uo to no longer be able to read the tiles to fish and mine from.  There are plenty of tutorials about how to get, and copy/paste those files into you main ea  folder to make all tile based scripts work again.  i have been using this since i reinstalled the map files.

I downloaded a set of the .mul files, and the mining script that was broken for me is now working properly, but for some reason this script still doesnt work. It just recalls to a spot, stands there doing nothing, recalls to the next spot and repeats. Any suggestions?

And oddly enough, the crab/lobster script works for me, but the fishing does not.

Ok, I've searched this thread for my problem, and I couldnt find it. I know people have complained about their miners recalling to the locations and doing nothing, my miner recalls and every spot it just repeats "you cannot see that location" a dozen or so times, then recalls to the next spot. I've tried cave spots and mountain side spots and its always the same. Does anyone know the problem?

(Also I tried to fix the .mul files as recommended. I dont have an old install, so I DL those UOcartographer files and they are in .bmp format. Do I rename them? or keep them as-is?)

Nevermind, It was the mul files. I found a link to DL them and its working fine now.

After some modifications it did the job for me.

Would you please post what you changed? I've been messing with it and I cant get it to work properly (doesnt open pack beetles pack, doesnt die or combine cloth)

Yes, running version 1.1
so far, it did it multiple times to the Fire Fish (from Shame - item type OMZ) and the Summer Dragonfish (Destard - item type ZZZ)

I LOVE this script, but I have one tiny problem with it. No matter what I set the "keep weight" at, it cuts certain types of rare fish. Even if it's set to 1. So I figure the easiest solution would be to just delete the lines that pertain to cutting fish (I want to keep the rare ones) but I don't want to break the script in doing so. lol. Can someone help me with what I need to delete? Thanks.

"Take what you want, I'm never coming back" Thats what I told my dad (now 62 years old, still plays UO) about my loaded Chesapeake zento vendor house almost a year ago. And honestly, I had no intention of returning, yet here I am. I lost a TON of gold / resources when I didnt even bother to clear out my house before it fell, but I wasn't returning, right? lol

We started playing UO in mid '98. (by we I mean my dad, my brother and myself) All 3 of us shared one account in the beginning, but that didn't last long. My brother quit for good about 5 years ago, and last year was my second time "leaving for good" :)

I play mainly as a merchant / craftsman. I've always been good at buying low and selling high, and I really enjoy the BOD system. Which is why I'm here. Most of the BOD scripts on easyuo are either broken, or not exactly what I'm looking for. This site looks great and it appears the scripts are very up to date. I can't wait to try some of them!
