Hi folks! My name is Robert (i.e Bob) and if you notice my rather unusual boardname you might come to the conclusion that I work in a nuclear powerplant. ;) Well you are right! I have been working for over 20 years at npp Philippsburg located in southern Germany. I work as a radiation protection specialist. In the US it also referred or known as a health physics specialist. Well i am not going into some details about my work but I do want to say one thing. I do not glow in the dark! And my name is not Homer! ;)

I am married to a lovely woman who thank god accepts my erm addiction to UO!!!! Although there are times we she asks me if I am not a bit old for playing UO.. Well hell I am only 49 :o We have no kids but a dog (pug) who at times does not accept me playing UO to remind me that its time for food ;D And that after I just fed him.
I have been playing UO without any breaks since april 2000. My ex girlfriend back then got me adiccted to this game. When I first started playing I never thought I would play this game very long. I told myself geez you are 36 and way too old for this..oh well... ::) Some of you guys posted some stories into your intro.. Here are some of my stories
I remember right around after a few months of playing time my girlfiriend and I wanted to meet up at the mage shop in Brit. So here I am standing at the mage shop fighting lizardmen and my girl calling me on the phone where in the hell am I because she was standing there to..I was shouting through the telephone if she is blind and cant see the lizardmen?
Well it turned out I was in Fel and she was in Tram.. At the time we didnt even know heard or even less knew where Felucca was :D I had no idea till this day how i wind up in Fel i must have stepped into a gate from a moonstone
One day in Del a player came screaming to the bank shouting: "An old man is trying to kill me"! Well it turned out to be a Lich from the undead city.
One player once asked me if I ever died in this game...A friend of mine standing next to me answered no he never dies because he has is own "ethereal wandering healer" Dont worry! We did not attempt to sell one to him :P
Oh I forgot to mention which shards I play on..Well until June this year I played only on Europa. Then I xferred one char to Atlantic and basically copied my chars from Europa..Well the Chars have different names of course. At the moment I mostly pvm but I do alot of fel champs. In the "old" days I did alot of pvp..Oh well we are all getting older and more relaxing I guess 8) I also played alot in a RP guild. But atm its plain ole barney land play style ;)
I must also admit that I have absolutely no experience with scripting or writing scripts. I still use good ole UO assist..and I refuse to use the EC..It just doesnt look right..I love my good ole 2D
Darn I did not attend this post to be this long but I am not a person that can write something down short and to the point..OK guys this it!
