When does the "good" part of your intro start? This is just a gimme intro...we get plenty of those :(

I can vouch for madman. I've played with him since 99 and he'd give you the uo shirt off his back. Good guy here.

I knew I wasn't the only one who enjoys a cup of coffee & watching a good script run more than actualy playing.  Seems to be a lot of master crafters joining lately just wait.....  SUO makes everything better.

This is not a good idea period. I highly suggest changing your name here or ingame before scripting now. Especially if your main server is Atl, bunch of no honor people over there who will turn on you in an instant.

I don't understand the logic of people who come to these threads with the desire to run scripts, something highly illegal and openly declare their home server and character names. It's nice that these people want to socialize, but when you do that, the only thing protecting you ingame is your anonymity here, aka your login name.

Heh, I always scripted with my main account.  Never was a problem - just never do it unattended.  There's a few good GM warning scripts out there, but ENs was the best IMHO.

It doesn't matter.

Your accounts associated with the credit card that pays for them (or paypal) can all be flagged off of a single bust. Hell, my friend had every one of his accounts perma banned because when a GM pulled him (He ticketed on someone, and they pulled him to get a better understanding) in his profile said something about using EUO (It was a scrub account of his) like "I proudly advocate the use of EasyUO for menial tasks." and the GM just happened to look in his profile after the interview, banned him on the spot, two days later every account he had on the same credit card was also banned. Including his son's and wife's accounts of which had never used EUO.

They are still banned today, despite multiple inquiries into the accounts. Two years ago they gave up trying to get them unbanned when their three castle went IDOC and dropped.

Just something to keep in mind.

good story Dxrom... Just follow the golden rule of player avoidance and you wont get banned.  GMs generally only take action if its a hot spot getting abused (eg heartwood) or people page on you ... so remember gms don't page on people .. so avoid other players if/when unattended.

I have been a member here for years..under my game name and had no problem saying what shards I played. If you play smarter than the average bear..scripting is never an issue. In all the years I played..never once banned for scripting...telling a GM to *bleep* off or a player complaint that I was damaging their feelings with truth...sure...but never for scripting.

This guy above me says it all..never ever script in hot areas and never ever in your house unless hidden (dangerous even then if you can be heard). I placed houses in totally barren areas to script in.

I had bags deleted from one of my gatherer houses one time along with 3 day suspensions. Only time i've EVER seen that happen but i did have millions of stones worth of product coming from my personal little sweatshop.

I called to argue and was promptly met with "our gm's aren't allowed to delete players items" and "if you followed the rules to begin with you wouldn't be missing items".

Heh... You simply dind't have any haters....  But knowledge is power & just because someone was merciful doesn't mean you were "smarter than the average bear"..

- Played Pacific /Sonoma & eventually other West coast shards under posting name  *Check*
- Rolled With Calisto Dom (Also his SUO name lol) / Stewie aka Waka / MvP ? *Check*
- Main Character was a stealth archer named Solid Snake  *Check*
- Main use to guild was spawn scouting & triple clienting etc...  *Check*
- Owned Multiple Castles (with known locations etc) *Check*

Anyway just because some people with the power didn't choose to page on you doesn't mean other's wouldn't.  I'm trying to make it clear to others here at SUO that are still playing UO (Unlike Snake here) that the less info linking your Scripting persona & your UO shard / character the better....
