Hello everyone that reads this. I go by Jasper in almost every game I have played. I am coming back to Ultima Online for about the fifth time since 1997. I played back then on the Atlantic shard as different forms of Jasper (Jasper, JasperX, Jasper II, etc..) and I still play there today. UO was my first MMO I have ever played and have been chasing that feeling that I had running through the woods in my full set of ranger armor getting chased by some PK's. They got me, but I didn't care. It was the first time in a video game that I actually felt fear. My heart never raced so much before from a game and it still hasn't. Even when I went to Everquest and raided in a top 5 worldwide guild. I still didn't have that feeling. So I decided to come back to Ultima, even though the graphics aren't near what other games off... other games don't offer the feeling and experience that UO offers. I care more about content of the book than what the cover looks like.
More of a personal section... I just recently acquired my bachelor degree in computer science. I am a programmer at heart and LOVE to code. It is like an art form for me. There are multiple ways to paint a tree, and they all can be a tree at the end. However each painting will be completely different, much like coding something. I don't have a job in my field yet, but have been going to interviews pretty much nonstop for about 2 months now since I finished my degree.
If I get accepted to the community, I plan on further enjoying Ultima as well contributing to the massive library on the site.
