Hey guys
I'm starting on a fresh new (non-OSI) shard soon. I haven't played in perhaps 5-7 years and I wanted to know what you guys think is the best way to start out making gold to buy a house (which is my ultimate goal).
I remember back in the day when starting on Lake Austin (OSI shard) there was a bunch of scripts for making/selling scriptures (I believe) that you made, making quite a bit of gold in a very non-dangerous way (no harm sitting in town afk scripting).
What is the hotness these days? Can you help an old newbie out?

There's actually a few nice scripts to help you get started on a new shard here.

While you're at it, you should take write an introduction in the proper section, to have access to the numerous scripts here at ScriptUO. I guarantee you, it will be worth it! :)

I've done as you suggested and posted a introduction.
Will be looking through scripts now. The guide you posted there, the guy has 5 million to start out with, so that's kinda cheat, haha. I'm more looking for ways to start out from scratch and start running scripts ASAP to farm gold.
Do you remember the script I am referring to where you would stand and make scrolls all day long and sell them for a profit? I don't know if that's even profitable anymore (it's an old T2A shard)?

If we are talking they same script. I do remember it you where at the map makers shop and bought all the blank scrolls and then started making maps until they respawn on the shop keeper. Wash and repeat to make money and it was by bungie man but I do not have a copy of it anymore that was back on my 90 MHz PC that I have not used since the late 90's ;)

Haha, yeah that was it. Good times.
Are there any similar scripts/methods that have scripts now? Where you can start pretty much from scratch and make money that way? It's a fresh shard, and I want to be able to get a hold of a keep or castle ASAP.

That would be awesome.
However, I don't know if the method is still profitable (or on a T2A shard that is - I guess it is?) and more importantly I'm not quite sure exactly what it did. But yeah, buy the blank scrolls and made increasingly more difficult maps (untill you were 100 skill) and then just made the hardest/most profitable and sold to vendor. Basically you were just sitting right next to the vendor macroing away and making lots of gold per hour.
