Title: Howdy Errybody!
Post by: deepz42 on April 08, 2013, 07:58:39 AM
Hi my tag name in the games I play is Deepz.  A long long time ago I was known by another name that I would rather let fade away.  I just recently started playing UO again after getting hit with the ban hammer back in 2005-2006.  I am 26 years old and happily married.

I used to use EasyUO way back when and I have always wanted to create my own scripts in this game instead of just using ones that others have created.  I plan on trying my best to make a script from scratch however I cannot make any promises.

I would love to be a member of this site, and hope to really get involved in the scripting community.

What shards do you play on? How did you find us here?

I play on Atlantic, I had jumped around to many different shards in the past, but my home always has been and always will be Atlantic.

Upon coming back to UO I was looking for the scripting sites I used to use, and I came across this site whilst googling and I wanted to give you guys a try.

I apologize if my earlier posts were a little short, however it is always very difficult for me to just come out and blab.

I was banned back in 2006 and started playing again immediately afterwards however with college getting underway, I had to take a long hiatus.  And when I did try to come back I could not find any of my old guild so it was not long lived.  Now however my pops started playing again, which is what got me started again and is going to keep me playing.  I have seen a lot of scripts from EasyUO back in the day and I always wanted to work on them and improve upon them however I was a little lacking in my efforts/abilities.  And I feel now would be a great time to attempt to write my own scripts and make "sanctioned" improvements on ones that I find and use.  I am not sure how much time I can devote into scripting in the coming months but it is something I have always wanted to do and I will make time for it.

Like I said earlier I apologize for my short original post, but I would like to be part of this community and I do much better at answering questions than causing them :)

Awesome, thanks I was starting to worry I wasn't going to get accepted.  Here is to hoping I can get some time to write a few scripts now.
