Title: UO, how everything started

   My name is Guilherme Stein, 23, Brazilian, majoring in Biotechnology in Boston - MA. My hobbies are playing UO, books, gym etc..

   Well to begin with, I started playing UO a long time ago, (10-12 years) at a Brazilian Freeshard called "Illusions Shard". It was a great server, my nickname was MussuM. At that time everything was new to me, even internet was new in Brazil. I remember I had a 56 kbts connection and still played UO.

   So I created my first character and his profession was to mine for rare ingots. I mined for months and acquired lots of ingots. But I had 0 gold and, I needed it to buy pickaxes to continue mining. One day walking through Minoc I heard other advanced players saying that if you have blacksmith you'd be able to craft tear metal shield with ingots and sell them to the blacksmith npc. This was how I started making gold for the first time.

   Ultima Online is the best game, I like pretty much everything from pvm to pvp, for pvm I always use tamer/disco and for pvp I been using mage/wrestling. I remember back in the time playing with a warrior when cap dex didn't exist. I had a bersekers maul and 200 dex, and boy it was fast. Some shards I have played are Demise, shattered legacy, Demisium, Illusions, RWUO, The Ninth Virtue.

   I'm fascinated with Ultima Online and its new expansions that I invited friends and family to play with me.
