Title: Best way to spend clean up points for profit
Post by: floofpunkitten on March 31, 2014, 06:17:46 PM
I've been dropping my clean up points on scrolls of alacrity. Sometimes I get lucky a get one that I can sell for 1m, others are worth very little. I know a lot of people sell the pigments, but at 250k points and a price of 3-5m, scrolls seem like a better deal. What does everyone else do?

I haven't done clean up this time around.  Seems they kinda left the clean up system in place for good.  Is that right?

At one point in time i was making ~1m points a day easily. But all of that went into Alacrity scrolls (I stopped after filling like 20 books up or something). I know some people who sell the dyes and find it profitable though. Not really sure what else there is other than dyes and alacs.

Well I'm still offloading my "bless scrolls"  at 8-10m a pop it was by far the best investment .. especially being as you can no longer get them.

Currently i'm not active so cannot say whats good right now.

I know this thread is a little older but I found it #1 in google when looking for ideas on what people spend their points on.

After doing a it of research it looks like the Steward deeds are coming up strong. They act like a mannequin and a 125 slot storage chest if you don't set a word + they can be named unlike mannequins. They also make it super easy to show off your armor and swap into a different suit fast for different circumstances. On my shard they go for a nice sum too, more than the mannequins for sure.

I loaded one up with house runes and named him so that people say "rune" to get a free rune to the shop.

Do their items count towards house storage?

Unfortunately yes.

even worse than that they subtract 125 even if they are empty - and the house has to be public.

Yes, they do subtract 125 from the house storage but you don't need other chests laying around in your house either, these can replace storage chests and are much cleaner decor imo. They sell for more than mannequins do on my server which is odd because mannequins are a 14th yr reward but steward deeds are ongoing (for now, stock up while you can!).

I dont like then due to the storage issue... but I might stock up on a few if they sell well.. still trickerling out my bless deeds but their almost gone :(

Thanks for the tip

You're welcome.

I don't consider it a storage issue really because I fill them up the same as you would fill up a normal chest. I tend to keep all of the things a specific toon needs on the steward with his suit on it incl soulstone, bandages, arrows, potions, tools etc, etc. Each character gets their own storage. I have 7 stewards in use so that's only 875 storage slots, storage hasn't been a problem yet.

I wonder, if the house goes idoc and falls what happens to the stuff inside the stewards?
