First of all please forgive me the poor English language, for English is not my mother language, sorry!
I've played this game about 7~8 years, till now I can recall the feeling when I first heard the theme song of UO,
name is "the Stones", it's just a MIDI music, but it's so melodious.
Then after login,a new world opened for me.
In fact, the favourite game of mine is "Baldur's Gate", in this game, I can act the role as my wish.
I do what I like to do, I choice what I wish to choice, the experience is so good, it's not a game only,
but a new life.
"Baldur's Gate" is a single game, the characters in the game are NPCs, they can only respond you follow
the script. In UO, except NPCs, each character has a real man behind it, then it's almost a real world.
I'm not a brave man,so the first GM skill of mine was lumbering, and the second was mining...
at the begging of my UO life, I was only a craftsman, and then also I like hunting the monster,
yes, just PVM, not PVP.
But when after I Joined a guild, I could not stay hind behind friends' back forever.
Oh...... it's a hard time. I did not like to fight, but I have to fight, because guild members they're calling
"come through moongate right now!!! all of u stay in guild house, need support !!!"
In the end, I left this guild, and lost the friends. Were they my friends? I didn't know.
I like them, they like me, I like offer them the equipment I made, they like to talk with me,
hunting with me, but they also like guild war, like PVP, I don't, absolutely.
One day, the client upgraded, the tamer became easy to use for the new pet Hiryu, it is so strong,
I found the favourite build, the tamer, for I can hunt only with my pet, no need other persons' support.
In those time, I'm alone and with no friends at all.
But I can not stay in my lonely, this is a MMO game, why did I play this game? I wish to communicate
with other persons, not only with my pet... if the life just like this, I'd better back to my "Baldur's Gate".
At last, I Joined a new guild again, they said they do not need me to fight, just produce equipment and it's enough.
Then I found EasyUO, this tool help me to release my hand and mouse. And someone introduce this
editer ScriptUO, it's a good software, just like "UltraEdit", I use it to design C language sources.
Today I'm a tamer, and a craftsman, not a hero, not a savior, I'm just a honest, and gutless man.
I ... has my guild members, maybe they are my friends, maybe not. I don't know, maybe I borned without a friend？

Thanks for the great intro! I remember Baldurs gate as well. It was pretty fun.
I'm glad you found some use with ScriptUO. It does have lots of features from my favorite editors I've run into throughout the years.

Welcome to SUO! I enjoyed Baulder's Gate as well. I would love to try that out again lol.
