Title: I'm new here
Post by: Ketchup on December 09, 2014, 01:24:14 PM
Hey I'm Gavin I'm 26 and I'm new here,
I've played UO for a good 15 years now on and off, started on Chesapeake as a pvper and quit the game after a great few years, I came back to the game to realise everyone had moved to Atlantic so I started playing there as well as Drachenfels, due to my connection (UK)
I've dibbled and dabbled in a few scripts before and I'm interested to see what your site has to offer.

Tell us what made you quit the game before :) How's the state of Drachenfels these days? You should try Europa if your connection is good on Drachenfels :)

First time I quit was due to working too much and having no time to play, the state of drachenfels is poor the playerbase is tiny but I play Atlantic at the same time so that helps but not for pvp as my connection is a little off on Atlantic

Post what you are working on in the script debug section and people will help but I am not sure if anyone would work one on one due to time constraints, real life, and all that stuff.

I'm not really "working on it" because I have no idea how to script

SUO is the best place to learn. Check out the tutorials here http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?board=17.0

Go through scripts that are smaller and try to follow the logic and then move onto bigger scripts.

I am still learning but I have found the best thing to help is reading through the scripts and trying to figure out each sub. You can go to the easyuo event macro page and figure out some commands http://wiki.easyuo.com/index.php/Event_Macro
