Hi all,
I returned to UO last month after a 10 year hiatus! I started playing in 97, and then had a stint in early 2000's before moving onto SWG (miss that game). I then started up again around 2005. At least that's how I remember my timeline.
Last month I had fun recovering/linking my old accounts with mythic. What's crazy is I had 5 different accounts in total. I have no idea why I had that many, but I decided to resub to two of them and see what I was working with.
My one account had a couple 6x characters on Lake Austin, which seems like a dead shard now. And my 1997 account had no character on it... :( I'm pretty sure I played on LS with that account, maybe GL as well. So, I decided to start fresh with my original account for the veteran rewards and I'm now playing on Atlantic. I'm having a lot of fun right now, mostly playing a Sampire and messing around with the house design tool. I have yet to be able to solo any spawns but I'm improving my skills and gear.
I do like to play a lot of templates so I certainly have my work cut out for me. I remember using UOloop and something heavy on the keyboard....Anyway, I've been reading a lot on this forum and am looking forward to trying some of the things out. Feel like I should have never stopped playing, lol.
