For some reason about a month ago I went looking for a game to play and remembered UO, which I hadn't played since a few months after The Second Age was released, and a short stint on live maybe 6 years ago(?). I stumbled on the ShadowAge shard and gave it a try. A lot of things had changed even from the last look I had at live, but thankfully I found some really helpful people to give me tips on what to do. I was logging in with the Razer client that came from the ShadowAge page. When I let my new friends know they quickly pointed me to UOSteam and said just use it because it's better. I liked some things about it, but I really liked it's more expansive scripting system. I like doing tradeskills in any game I play that has them available so I saw a definate plus to using UOSteam. So I spent a few days gathering resources and hunted around the net for examples of scripts(with very little luck) so that I could try to piece together something. I actually did manage to put together a script to raise up tailoring, but it breaks near the end(not quite 105 skill yet). So I did more digging and found this site. I am hoping to find clear examples and people willing to share knowledge here. Although I do like fiddling with things, it takes a while to weed out errors with no real guidlines to follow. Being allowed in to the community to see how things are done and get information on how/why it's done that way would be really helpful as I keep trying to push forward on a server well beyond my game knowledge. I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

Thank you very much. Hopefully UOSteam will help me catch up a little quicker. Looking forward to testing my scripting ability.
