Hi guys !
I was thinking about register here since few months, and I've finaly done it ! You may ask why I didn't before.. Maybe because I'm shy. Or more probably, because I'm french and I don't understand everything in english, but I try my best :P
So.. What about me.. My new nickname is DevBeldin. Be sure it's not my real name. It would be weird. I'm Simon. As I said I'm french, and more especialy, from Corsica, where I'm waiter in a good restaurant. I am 27 yo but maybe less in my head. I've lived in Bristol (England) during 3 months where I could improve my english but.. You will see, I will make a lot of mistake with "when use present perfect / past etc..." so.. Forgive me and don't hesitate to tell me when I'm wrong.
What brings me here ? Well.. I'm learning slowly but surely C#. And what's the best way that making code for UO ! I think it's a funny way. I play this game since 12 years now, and I would like to learn how it's builded. I know it will be long, sometimes hard, but I'm patient. But why here ? I know there are other websites to learn C# for UO, and it's not here I'll learn it. But, here I'll increase my knowledge in development and way to develop. Because I want also to know how to script facilities to my future members' experience of gaming on UO. And if I can help some of you when I'll be enough good, I'll with pleasure !
I talk about "my future community and blablabla".. Yes. I have a project on which I work with some friends. French community on UO is cutting back.. And the actuals opened shards are not really.. attractive. We would like to propose a new shard, a new experience to people who don't know where to play. It's a big hard work, but we are not affraid. Be reassured, I'm not the only developer on this project (I'm not even sure I'm developer haha ! I work on the story and build IG principaly, but I want help my dev team), it would be crazy :P
I hope I've been clear :-\. If not... Never mind ! If you have any doubts, just be sure I'm in the right place to learn what I want to learn ;D
