Welcome to SUO! Yes they did fix the golems so now you damage them. Many people go to the underworld and tame a spider and use a 100% poison weapon on it. It needs to be just the 100% poison and you will do no damage. Otherwise I think you use spellweaving and control an ogre lord and do the same thing.

Thats right I read about the spiders ... Ill have to take my tamer down ....

But why make it 'do-able' with one thing and nurf another for doing the exact same thing ....

They just made it a little more difficult. Instead of the player being able to own the golem, you now need a tamer to be on with the pet out for you to gain. You either need your own tamer on an alt account or a friend to be logged in and stay logged in. It's not as easy so it slowed down the training. Anything to give people a hard time in an old and outdated game lol.

Artic Ogree Lord are still my choice.  only Need 59 SW , Dryad alure spell and lot of try  or a frind with SW and be guilded
