Title: Greetings
Post by: kvothe68 on December 26, 2020, 08:43:21 AM
Hello and merry christmas,

I am happy to be here and greetings to all members.

I'm Holger and I come from Germany near Heidelberg. I am 51 and an old man :-)

I started with UO in 1999 on the OSI server Drachenfels. Shortly afterwards my wife was also infected with the UO virus. A second account was needed so that we could play together. We played UO together until 2004. You can almost say lived in UO :-)

When WOW came onto the market in 2004, like many others we migrated towards WOW and our time in UO became less and less.

When my keep with all my treasures was decayed, this was the final end of UO for me.

In May 2020 I found out by chance that it is possible to have your old accounts activated. This also went smoothly. It was an incredible feeling to log in to Drachefels after 20 years with the old chars and take your first steps.

In fact, there are still few old friends from back then who play UO over and over again
Since then I have been playing UO regularly and with great joy.

I prefer to play my tamer or fishing bard with whom I am trying to get a 120 fishing scroll. But my new Sampire is also a lot of fun, even if it still lacks the perfect equipment

A lot has changed in the last 20 years and I discover new things every day.

I would be very happy to have the opportunity to use one or the other script from here and a part of the community.

thanks in advance

Kvothe
