I have been farming boards for the past few months and I was thinking about switching to farming ingots.
Just wondering which is more profitable do you think ?

I do much better selling ingots. Iron sells better than plain wood too. So when it comes to getting rid of the excess - the plains sell better in metal. Ingots get consumed faster with the existence of bods too.

THanks C2.
Thats what I was thinking, since theres BODs for ingots there will always be a demand for them. Nothing for boards really except Heartwood. I am going to swith my accounts over to all mining here

I second that when ever i stock my vendor with ingots thier all gone in a day or two .. ive had boards on a vendor for ages now and slowly sell. Since the factions and better versions of the mesuem items availble that way who needs boards, except heartwood people and thier scripting that so thier probably scripting collecting the boards as well.

I farm heartwood quest atm, I adverage about 4000-6000 quest a week(I start it soon as the server comes up and it runs long as I dont lose connect). If I have good luck and get yew and heartwood kits I make about 15mil per week but my friend has 2 miners that are making him 8-10 mil per week steady money. He uses MWinc's miner and adverages 4800-5100 ingots per hour. I have had weeks that I only got ash and oak kits.
