Hey all,
Returning to UO after a long break. Left shortly after the Ninjas and Samurai invaded Britannia. Glad to be back but wish I never let my houses decay :)

I think you will find the effort required to write a four or five paragraphs will pay off with this community!

Well I've been playing UO since beta, was there when Rainz snooped into someone's backpack, stole a fire scroll and used it to kill Lord British who was being played by Richard Garriot at the time.
Back when there was no Tram, if you stepped out of a city you had to prepare to fight :) When Samurai Empire launched to me it didn't feel like the Ultima worlds anymore and I've played them all, Akalabeth through Ultima 9. Ultima 7 was my favorite when you finished the game by destroying the EA logo, ECA at the time. Underworld 1&2 as well as the spinoffs Martian Dreams and Savage Empires. I left for EQ2 for a very long time but don't have the time anymore to dedicate 3-4 hours several nights a week to raid, and you have 23 other people waiting for you to show up. Decided to see what was going on in UO and realized I missed many great events over the years. It wasn't just dungeons anymore. I'm not gonna lie, was crazy to come back and see prices of things especially houses in the Billions. Slowly started getting back into it, working on templates in ways I never did before. Also gave Bushido and Chiv a shot, it's not so bad. I'm glad to see the game still alive after all this time. I still have my promo copy of Ultima Online 2 heh. I know Garriot mentioned he would be taking back UO "soon" but I think that was just BS. I do miss the days of the sigil wars, ruined by insurance/blessed items. There was none of that back then. I also see people found ways to solo/duo some champ spawns. I remember when the Doom Guantlet had dozens of players running around and 4 Dark Fathers running around like crazy at the same time. Anyway, have been back about a month and enjoying it. Seeing if I can write some scripts again, its been ages. Don't even remember what I used to use back in the day. You'll see me running around Atlantic (was the only east coast shard originally), most of my toons are named after Shadowlords. Thanks for having me.
