No idea.  There have been other people that have difficulty playing this script on a laptop.  Not sure why.  If you figure it out, please post the solution!

Plus there have been a few instances where people just have strange behavior with EUO running on their system.  I remember one person just couldn't get the CLAw working because one of the EUO system variables was not returning the correct value.  *shrugs*

Make sure that when you open up EUO that you open it by right clicking and telling it to run as administrator, I had a buddy that was having alot of problems until I had him try that and it resolved 99.9% of the issues he was having.

Ah, you beat me to suggesting this.  Thanks, Xclio.  Yet another Vistaism!

Works fine in Win7 too without having to do that.  I have more problems with Win7 and boats however.  If you are script sailing, I can lock up Win7.  Odd.  I have to boat script from Win2003; I gave up on Win7.

Ah man, I'm with ya brotha!  Although I'm a Win7 fan now.  Perhaps that's an alternative?

Odd, was really expecting that one to work for ya.  As for Win7 I am awaiting the RTM build (Release to Manufacturers).  It was supposed to be out already but it seems to be on hold, though I haven't looked on MSDN for almost 2 week snow.
