That stuff that's going to ruin UO... uhmm.... imbuing? doesn't it use like existing stuff from weapons which you can mix/match to make new ones?
Like if you have 50 Hit Fireball on a weapon, you can "unravel" it or something to put that on something else?
If that's the case, then start stocking up on heartwoods now, so you can make/build your uber stuff for the future.

You don't need the stat on another weapon to make something with 50 fireball just the right ingredients....
I do enjoy messing with the stratics guys that are throwing a fit about heartwood...script haters are soo much fun.

They're just upset because they don't have the skill to write simple scripts. Which honestly takes 15 minutes to learn. Anyone that can't script is just lazy imo...? No offense to anyone here that isn't taking the 15 minutes to learn of course. :)

I love people that try to prevent scripters, those of us that are actually good at it enjoy writing to account for every possible outcome Many solutions available even for those that like to block recall locations, always have alternate locations and solutions Thanks for playing though!

Man those people don't know whats going on. It's scripters that make the wheels of UO keep turning.
Where could they possibly get 60k wood deeds? Cut them ROFL? They farm gold and buy them. Their attitude is "let someone else do the work". Where do they think it comes from? Any resource, barbed kits, etc... They buy the "elite" armor thats made then bitch about the scripter who got the kit.

I so enjoy playing with them over there. My favorite time to play with them is when the real goodies are over there and they try to flog you at a moments notice.

yeah, i find that the people who only came to the site to download the script never change their endpoints on teh rail, so you find tons of people on top of eachother! and i wonder who the elites are :-\

Actualy I have been actualy trying for about 8 years some folks just dont have the right ways of thinking to write scripts.
some folks at the other site and I banged our heads against the walls for years trying to get my brain to absorb this stuff but it never worked :( I am good at spotting things that dont " look" right though which is why others always liked me to look at their work :)

I haven't been to Heartwood for a while. Is it still packed?

Not on Sonoma. I posted in another thread about some fellows cornering the market by banning on everyone except their own scripting accounts.
That's just mean.

My shard has slowed down too. Prices fell to 5 mil per heart runic and folks stopped farming as much. I am saving all mine to make relics with. I imagine prices will sit around 3-5 per after everyone breaks down all their artifacts.

I was told by a guildmate that someone on one of the shards we play (Chessy, GL, LS, or Cats) had 10 accounts running, with an 11th that simply ran in and restocked/emptied the other accounts! I'm not sure if anyone here wrote that script or knows of it, but it sounds like a pretty cool idea! Just friend you character to the beetles of each account and then you just run in, drop the new supplies in and pick up loot while the scripts just tear it up!! Even if you only did this with 3-5 accounts it would still be insanely worth it!

Oh, and if they really want to stop scripters in Heartwood, then just make it ONLY in Fel, and give it the PvP ruleset!! I never quite understood why Heartwood in Fel has Tram ruleset!! Such BS! Gotta love all the blues that run in there to hide!

In Fel, yes. Many people have modded the script to automatically insure any good kits, though.

How come the people that know how to write scripts make the coolest ones, and the people that use them and don't know HOW to script make the BEST MODS. haha DAMNIT why didn't I think of that???

Of course if you are using TM's Elite version you already have the option to Insure them....its been there all along. Have I said how GREAT it is to be Elite?
