If you are in a Faction and tame an animal in Felucca, it will rename the animal with the tag of the Faction that you belong to. For example "A Bull" when tamed becomes "A Bull" (CoM). When current taming scripts currently go to rename it, it does so, but the (CoM) Faction Tag remains and the animal will not release.
You might want to take this into account on future Taming Scripts, updates and releases.
Just thought you would like to know.

Nice catch Oracle.
Yet another good reason to release via the context menu rather than rename/release. Nothing like watching a toon rename to "a", release, and kill over and over (hmm, which script is HE using?). Used to be that you could tell who was using Uncle Dave's because polar bears, grizzlies, etc named "KillMe" were everywhere LOL! I, for one, have NEVER renamed a tame and done "a release" when training taming manually - this is left for taming scripts. Might as well rename the tame to "IAmUsingInsertNameHereTamingScript" before killing.
Context menu 4tw!

Nice catch.

yea good catch .. fixed it in my auto tamer script.

Pretty sure mine uses the context menu but it has been months since I played with it.

Urgh, I'm definitely going to have to update mine. I hate using context menu's just cuz they're glitchy, but I may change the system that I use to rename the animal. Thanks for catching this though!!!!
