Title: hi :)
Post by: Thimotty on September 23, 2009, 06:51:24 PM
Hi all :)
I have never been good in introducing myself :)
Anyway I'm UO player for 8 years and easyuo scripter for 4 years. Now that EUO is down i got bored waiting for an update and start looking for some alternatives. That's how i got here. I have checked ScriptUO and I've found it fabulous so i think I'll stick around :)

Heh, she was looking for some more meat.  You know how those Tigresses are!

Anyhow, do you just run scripts or are you a script author?  If you've written some, what kind are they?  Seems like everyone likes to play Sampires, Whammies, or whatever, but what types of characters do you like to play the most.

You know, Meat!  :)

LOL I know but as I said I'm not good at introducing myself so I've decided to play the "innocent" meat :P

For the last 8 years I have played in free shards but 2 months ago I have finally moved to OSI. Anyone else here on Europa?  ;)
I play tamers, tamers and tamers :P in my last shard I had 4 tamers and 1 crafter. I had a pvp tamer (I hate pvp but it was useful from time to time), champ tamer, bard tamer and my favorite treasure hunter tamer. Since I've moved to OSI I have only bard and champ tamers. For now.... ;)

I'm writing scripts. The main reason I have only 2 submitted in the easyuo PCL is that I'm too lazy to make them useful for anyone else. Usually I make a script just for the task I need and nothing more. However I have some very advanced scripts (mostly tamers related) and in time I may get them posted here. But - well I've just added my first contribution to this community - just to avoid being eaten alive by the Tigress  :P  :P

Ahhhhhh, there we go!  Now that's a great intro.

People wonder why we do the intro thing here.  So here's the story in a nutshell.  I was a HUGE forum lurker since the beginning of Stratics, and through the beginnings of EasyUO.  At some point I decided to post a bit, but nothing much until I was approached by Cerveza at EasyUO because he had the "HOTS" for one of my scripts.  (his suggestions made it ohh so much better) Long story short.....  one post turned into 10, then turned into 100 and then 1000.  I've lost track now, but I know that it's still fun after all these years of yapp'in.

So let your hair down and have fun!  Sometimes it just takes one post to get the bug, so that's why we do what we do.

Um....Someone has an over inflated opinion of what their rejection would mean to me.....I'm not going to mention any names but their initials are THIMOTTY.

Plus if etchings aren't your thing I also happen to have some exquisite wood carvings that are quite spectacular.

Holy crap!  Now that is a lot of tamers to create.  I can't even imagine making that many... by hand that is!  I have four spread across 3 accts and made a fifth for a buddy as a favor.  I star t ed with a tamer as my main for 2-3 years so I feel your tamer love.  Welcome to the site!

Lol, I've only made one on OSI and it about killed me.  I've made 2 on Alexandria since it's soooo much easier to raise taming there.

Wanna hear a secret?
There is a way in OSI to rise a full tamer within 1 week :)
A tamer bard 3x120 bard the rest on tamers skills took me about 3 weeks :)
you know the "tamers farm" on osi right?

I would love to hear how you got taming to 120 in a week.....

Oh yeh, I made my tamer before there was anything really cool, so I did the Delucia bull thing.  After that, I just got my residual gains from my unicorn tamer.

With a nice little script, of course, but it is the location that is important. Here is a screenshot:

What are you taming there to get gains above 95? I head to central Ilshenar and tame Ridgebacks.

Bulls. With bulls you can get past 110 and you don't need more than 110 taming.

I dunno, the last time I saw a person get mauled by a Tigress, I believe the bodybags they called for were the size of sandwich bags.
