Title: You know what's amusing?

Here's what's amusing me at the moment:  watching people train imbuing at the Queen's Soulforge.  Unless I'm completely wrong, it's actually more expensive to train there because you have to train higher intensities to get 50% success chance...

So, they're scripting at a public soulforge...  Using more resources...  Gaining less...

Hmm, they say inbreeding is ok, as long as you keep it in the family.

There is a forge in the smithy off to the right of the public forge that is a full step harder to imbue on than the player crafted soul forges...  That is where I brought my first imbue toon to 120.

Huh I thought that little mini-forge was the same bonus as the one in the town square.

I ran around and checked them all. The forge in the smithy is more difficult to imbue on than a player crafted forge by the same margin that the player crafted forge is harder than the one in the square.
