Title: Hi All

     Hey there everyone. I am very new to this site, and i have never used any scipts at all period. I have been playing UO since 1999 and I have always played in LS. After so many years of playing this game i thought it would be cool to expand my horizons and see what the scripting side has to offer. I'm also looking for a new hobby because life can get very monotone after a while so if i study hard enough i hope to and dabble in making scripts myself. I am currently laid off of my job due to the bad economy, so i have a heck of a lot of time on my hands for the time being. I have come across this site numerous times but did not ever have the time to get going. So here I am, nice to meet ya and Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

  Welcome to SUO. Thanks for the nice intro. I, too, was like you. I had been playing since the game came out, and only found my way to "the dark side" here awhile ago. It sure makes things nicer, and the game more fun.

I think it's really cool that you guys actually have to approve of people before you let them in. Thats a WAY better way of doing things then other places I have seen. Nice job.

Done mostly out of necessity and the saving of my sanity as well as Cervezas.  It's a bit of extra work, but since we've done this change, site participation has nearly tripled.  I'd call that a success.  :)

Well I was never here before the change was implemented but I can attest that with glaring exception of ME it is doing a fantabulous job of keeping the riff raff out.
