I come to you all after a long and storied UO history. I first started in Lake Superior many moons ago, and over the next few years, my theif developed quite a reputation for himself. His name was Storm. I took house looting to a whole different level.
Here is the gimic (was)
1. Steal the rune that said "house" , "casa", "my place"...you get the idea
2. Open up MS Excel and enter the name of the character and any of his other characters that I knew to be him
3. Be patient. this is where most people messed up. they would go for a rune and a key right away....tipped off the mark to easy.
4. A week, month, year later...when you see a key on the guy then you steal it..but only if you alrady had a rune to his house. And then you got killed right away...after a short chase.
5. But did I mention I had 40 tinker? Just enough tinker to make a key, put it in a green bag, and then drop the green bag on the ground during the chase. It just happened to blend well with the grass :) I die, the owner gets the original key back and feels perfectly safe. I mean after all...I don't even know where he lives right? :)
6 Wait until about 2am and then go check out your new diggs. I once looted an entire 2 story house while he and his friends were sparring two screens away. Took me about 2 hours, and they came back in to find mostly empty chests...and a book in the middle of the house that said "your house has been hit buy a hurricane. call the insurance adjuster."
And thus my UO career started and i was hooked.
I have since moved to SP long ago and currently I am tired of people looting all of my stuff in less than a second flat when I die..so I would sincerely like to return the favor.
Oh, and I love harleys, chocolate, and I am a master class pool player.

Welcome to SUO, and thank you for a nice intro! I remember the days way back when if you lost your house key you might as well place a new house :) I had more then a couple abandoned houses back then. Enjoy the site. Pleanty of ppl here been playing that long so lots to talk about.

Hi Dave. Harley's, Master Class pool playing, patience... you obviously didn't put your age in your profile because you think we'll call you grampa ;)
Welcome to the site and thanks for the chuckle!
