Several people have PM'd me asking me for help with Hort-O-Matic 2. I have made it a point to make it work and wanted to give you fellow Gardeners some tips and help that I do when using 'Hort-O-Matic 2:
I did not write the Script (Cedryk did an AWESOME JOB on this Script <wish he were still playing UO and not Pirates!>), but I have been using it for several weeks now and it seems to work fine, slow but works. I have one account that I use as Mules to store things in the bank, hold a house, and also do Gardening with them. Each character has 120 plant bowls on them inside a backpack. The script only recognizes backpacks and pouches, not bags or other containers. The work container is to my right and the Water Trough is in front of me. The seed container is stored in the 'Work Container', but I take it out and secure it when the Script asks for the 'Seed Container', then double-click it to open it. I dont check Collect until the 9th day, when I know I will have seeds. I also don't check use Standard/Extreme Prevention and Maximize Plant Health as it uses up way too many potions. I do check Maximize Plant Health, if I forget to water one or two days and that strengthens the plants back up to healthy and vibrant. Gardening uses a lot of potions and sometimes I really question whether it is worth it, but my Shard never has any 'Seeds of Renewal' for Sale, so I am forced to grow my own!

If you are growing locked down plants instead of growing the plants in your backpack, make sure you check the Locked Down Plant Box in 'Settings'.

That lock down option worked great for me... once you pointed out it was there. Thx for hints.

Is there a more current version of HoM2 somewhere than the one I downloaded from EUO years ago? The one there *appears* to be the same version... I love that script, and since I need seeds of renewal, this update will be most welcome.

There is a moded version that uses 'stacks of seeds' and 'stacks of potions' with several other mods and fixes. It is buried somewhere in the thread around page '26'.

Just as a thought, if you set all plants to Friends and start up a trial account you can make a bot to tend your plants for 2 weeks and it wont take over your regular account time, just friend the bot to the house (cant co-owner them). Then just have the bot do it all. He needs no gear right? When that trial account dyes off open another, then rinse and repeat.

BTW - anyone have seeds of renewal on Sonoma?
