Title: Christmas Shopping
Post by: Cerveza on December 21, 2009, 08:37:09 AM
Almost done shopping for my son.

They didn't have blue, but green is his second favorite color.

iPod nano, 16GB

And this XBox controller recharger will come in handy

Nyko XBox Charger

And just got a call that this item was in. I had a rain check on it.

Remington AirMaster 77

Now I have to stop by a book store and see if I can find these

Inkheart Series

Then I think I'm all done. If I can't find the Inkheart series, I'll pick up the Shannara series for him. He really likes fantasy, and though he's in the 4th grade, he's reading 7th+ material.

I already got my wife some gloves she needed, and I'll expect the generic "4th grade project Christmas card" from my son. I don't really want stuff anymore, instead I'd rather make it a special time for him.

I bought myself a car stereo and a new monitor for my PC over the last couple of weeks so I really don't need any gifts! We do try to promote "giving" around this time so I'm sure there will be a couple of cool homemade cards from my kids that I can put up on my desk at work.

My son is getting a new bed, my daughter and her mom are getting round-trip plane tickets to visit family in North Carolina for a week this spring which is something she has been asking for for two years so she is going to freak out. Other than that it's books and clothes, clothes and books!! Oh, and she's also getting my old PC in her room.

Nice work Cerv.  Since my wife is Jewish, we are raising the boys with Chanukah, so I am already all done!

I am going to work on my craft imbue script as a Christmas present to myself!

The full Shannara series is a better set of books by Terry Brooks, but there are alot more of them also if i remember correctly 11 books.

I have most of my christmas shopping done.  Just a few items left to get the wife.

yeah, shopping for TT or my parents is close to impossible.

another good series, with like 100 books in it, is the Dragonlance Series. If you just want to do the main series, then there are 8 i think. the rest are like spin-offs or histories that help to add to the main series.

DragonLance are a nice set of books also. I have read about 10 of them.  I am trying to remember the mage and the warrior brothers name from the ones that i have read?

Test of the Twins was the best book.  Cept for when Fistandantalus was there, and Tasselhoff cried when Flint died... sad. :)
