Smuggler’s Tool Box – Produces lockpicks daily

Smuggler’s Lantern – Has Spell channeling, faster cast, and is hued

  Undertaker’s Staff
    This
weapon is perfect when you’re in a jam! (Or just don’t feel like
running.) The Undertaker’s Staff can be used to retrieve your corpse if
it’s within 40 tiles and you are not a criminal.
  Merchant’s Earrings
  Who
needs to haggle with a set of baubles like these? The Merchant’s
Earrings are a charged pair of earrings that discounts player run
vendor costs per day.  Deducts one charge per day, there
are two versions: The 40 use version grants a 10% discount and the 90
use version grants a 5% discount.

Really?!?  I Mean, Really?  These things break, and they're charging money for them...  Someone was really trying to justify their paycheck on this one.  This is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever seen from OSI.

It's really bad when a company installs teets on the spine of their cash cow.  Yikes.  Part of why I didn't even bother to upgrade to the latest and greatest.

What is a teet?

And I looked at these as soon as it was posted last night and thought why pay money for these?  The dagger is dumb, but people will sell what you get from it if you really want it.  The earrings are just plain dumb.  And the staff, well kinda dumb as well.  If I am within 40 tiles of my corpse and its dangerous, I just double click it from a far and do a drive-by with use last.  So, the devs gave us coal this year huh?

I have to agree... it's a great idea to leech off the pixel crackers. :)  I'd do the same if I ran it.  And I'd get a fat Christmas bonus. :)
